Photos and Description of this 6 bedroom holiday chateau / country house in Fayence - Magical Country Estate At The Heart Of The Riviera
Sleeps 12/16. Beautiful 18th century 6 bedroom stone house in its own magical provençal estate at the heart of the French Riviera. Set in the Canton de Fayence, a peaceful area in the back country of the Cote D'Azur, Pijaubert is surrounded by nature, with amazing views of the forested countryside, hilltop medieval villages and the southern Alps. Only 5 minutes away from the Lac de Saint Cassien, half an hour from Cannes and the beaches and 50 minutes from St Tropez and Monaco.
Perfect for family reunions. 6 bedrooms, a semi-detached family apartment, a large living room that gives out onto the lawn with an enormous fireplace, Nintendo WII and a grand chateau dining table. Modern kitchen with american fridge that gives ice all summer long, opens up to the outdoor dining area with its over-sized BBQ that's big enough to roast a wild-boar! The lawn is great for football, badmington or just lounging in the sun. There is a ping pong table and if one gets too hot there is always the pool (14x6m). Pijaubert is set on the top of a hill, so it gets that golden light from sunrise to sunset, moments to die for!
For those who like to explore, in the extended garden you will find magnificant old oak trees, olive terraces and forest trails which will bring you to the hilltops around and down to the lake. Further out you'll find the medieval villages of Callian, Mons, Seillans and others. Another must is to explore the vineyards on the famous "Route des Vins".
