Absolutely beautiful
What an amazing weekend away with my partner. This was a valentines gift from my wonderful fiancé and was just what we needed. Would definitely have stayed longer if it wasn’t for the joys of having to go back to work . We stayed for 2 nights and was just what we needed. The cottage was just beautiful and the scenery was breath taking. I absolutely love the sea and having it on the doorstep and waking up to the waves was jus at amazing. I actually have no words to be honest. We used one of the booklets that was on hand in the cottage to go and visit a few places ( we will remember next time to bring wellies lol) a lot of Scottish history and breathtaking scenery. There was a few things we didn’t manage to fit in but we will defo be back to visit other places. Our host Kate was always on hand if we needed to ask anything and has made sure the wee house has everything you can ask for. Thank you for an amazing stay Kate..: only downfall was having to come home back to reality

Everything we needed was provided for including a few Christmas pieces. We are sure the sounds and smells of the sea will draw us back again soon

I am from nearby Aberdeen, where I live and work full time. I enjoy travelling and I have visited some wonderful places in the world and appreciate good hospitality. I hope that guests who come to The Wee House will enjoy a fantastic holiday in this little part of the world.

Why they chose this property

I have been visiting Pennan for a number of years as my parents own a holiday home here too. I bought The Wee House in 2014 and it has been lovingly restored into a beautiful seaside home - just the right size for two people! My boyfriend travels extensively for his job so its wonderful to have a getaway just an hour away when he is in Scotland.
