Faboulus idyllic gite set in "Real France"
The property is secluded, surrounded by farmland, but within easy reach of Toulouse and Carcassone to the North and the rest of the Arieg to the South.
However the location only tells a small part as to what makes this a wonderful place to stay. The Gite offers plenty of space, is well laid out, furnished to a high standard and with plenty of well thought out touches. Sallyann and Barry are delightful hosts, good company, and always wanting to ensure you get the best from your stay with them.
The pool is clean and of a good size and catches plenty of sun, a great place to relax, read and unwind.
The area is not touristy until you visit places such as Foix, but even then that is done in the usual stylish French way;
We found plenty to do away from the Gite , with help from our hosts and their excellent local knowledge.
But I guess anyone who reads this wants to know whether or not the property is a good base and worth staying at. The answer is emphatically YES. Its a superb property, warm, welcoming, comfortable and run by two of the nicest people you could want to be guests of.
If you are thinking of staying in this area, please give this property serious consideration, I guarantee you will not be disappointed.
