About this property

Atitlan Villas, A Sanctuary Of Peace And Natural Luxury And Stunning Beauty.

Atitlan Villas is a contemporary Eco-resort located on the tranquil shores of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. The resort is characterized by an unmatched combination of ecological beauty and luxury and is set on one the world’s most pristine freshwater lakes. You will be awestruck by the stunning vistas of the water and surrounding volcanoes as you enjoy a walk along one of our many mountain trails.

Our accommodations meld rustic elegance with luxury and comfort. The resort offers Single Bedroom Villas, Two Bedrooms Villas and one Four Bedroom Villa. Each features a unique design with private bathrooms with both lake and mountain views.

The two bedroom villas each have a fully equipped kitchen with complete range of appliances – gas stove with oven, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, as well as, dishes, pots and utensils and condiments.* “Coffee is complimentary at the resort's restaurant”.

Long Lasting Memories
Amazing experience and we loved our stay here! The property is beautiful and the staff were attentive and polite. Mario was great and always super helpful. The food was good, but I recommend bringing your own snacks if you have growing children that need a snack every so often. My only recommendation for improvement would be to supply each villa with an Ecofiltro water filter or stock each villa with plenty of bottled water. Overall it was an excellent experience and we plan to return in the near future.

A remote piece of heaven
The view is amazing. Each room has gorgeous views. Food was great. We brought food to make breakfast, but ended up eating all meals in the restaurant as it was great. They will make local food off menu if they have the supplies. The rooms are quite simple, nothing fancy, but the view is spectacular. Mario and his family were lovely hosts and helped us out in every way-from arranging transport back to Guatemala City to quick boat trips whenever we wanted to Santa Antonio. This place is super quiet. It was full on New Years Eve, but one night we were the only family staying there. We loved jumping off the wall into the lake, kayaking, and watching the local fishermen in the morning and evening. Sunset here is out of this world magical. We stayed four nights and were sad to leave.
