About Mountain Heaven
We began in the French village of La Plagne Montalbert when our three children were very young. As a family we are passionate about the mountains and wanted to find somewhere we could enjoy year after year and to teach our children to ski. We eventually found Montalbert and knew we had found somewhere that would be special to us.
Looking to turn our passion and experience into a business we started a small company with just a handful of self-catered apartments. With much dedication and hard work we went on to develop a successful business and a loyal guest following
Mountain Heaven was born out of a love of the mountains. Our values are simple….. have you ever gone on a skiing holiday and wondered why the cost goes up and up? The extras from tax sejour, towels, cots, high chairs WIFI, and the list go on. At Mountain Heaven as part of our set of values includes all these in the price, so there are no annoying extras.
We own and run Mountain Heaven so we are an independent family operated company, involved in its day to day operation. It's us you will talk to on the phone and see in our chalets and the slopes. We are fully bonded with ABTOT which is important for us as an honest ethical company and for you as a customer so your money is fully protected. This gives you peace of mind knowing you are with a company that cares about how it operates and not just in the business to make a profit. Unlike many others we are not simply resellers of accommodation, we operate all of our own accommodation and know the ski resorts and accommodation / ski chalets intimately and have staff on hand to help you in each of the resorts.
Mountain Heaven purchased this apartment in 2003
Why Mountain Heaven chose Montalbert
This apartment is in a wonderful location being right at the base of the slopes and in one of the worlds largest ski resorts. The village is authentic unlike many others in the Alps so you get the best of both worlds - great skiing and a real French atmosphere
What makes this apartment unique
The views from the balcony are stunning as you look right over the Tarentaise valley and the sunsets are simply amazing
Guestbook comments from the manager
Your business is a family friendly one and run by real people, very personal.' Jill Robertson - January 2006
'I would like to compliment everyone at Mountain Heaven for the very professional way in which the whole holiday was handled. From the time I first made my initial enquiries via the telephone to being met and welcomed by Chris and Denise in Montalbert.' Sonia Laverick April 2006.
'We had a fantastic time and there's really nothing of which I could be critical. The apartment was lovely; spacious, homely, warm, well kitted out.' Simon Rumble February 2006.
'Anyway, I would happily recommend Mountain Heaven and Montalbert to friends and other people I like, but part of me is tempted to keep it to myself so that the relatively quiet nature of Montalbert is maintained..' Kieron O'Malley May 2006.
