Great condo with beautiful sunsets!
We just returned home after spending 8 nights at Point Blue/Pelican Key with family for a cousin reunion (6 people total). Bottom line is that this a great place! The property is spacious beyond belief with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. A huge living room/kitchen area with an equally huge screened lanai for relaxing, reading, gathering and watching the Caribbean waves. The interior is nicely decorated and very clean. We cooked in a couple of evenings found the kitchen to be extremely well-equipped with everything we needed. The patio and pool area is the place to be at sunset with a glass of wine. Simply beautiful view!
This area of the island seems to be almost completely recovered from hurricane Irma. There are restaurants and a small market located within a 5 minute walk. More restaurants and a large market are also within walking distance (approx. 10-15 minute walk). The walk does include a couple of small hills that might be a challenge for some folks but our group of reasonably fit retirees had no issues.
Denise was very helpful and responsive during the booking process. Although the regular on-site property manager was away during our stay, arrangements were made for a substitute and everything was fine.
I have no hesitation recommending this property. The only issue we had was that we had to leave and go home. Five stars and two thumbs up!
