About this property

Le Clos de Médillan is the outbuilding of an old 17th century seigneury renovated in the pure Charentaise tradition.
Very comfortable cottages for 6 people open for rental all year round. Located in an independent annex of the owners' house, on the ground floor, they have a large terrace with direct access to the heated swimming pool (only in summer). Relaxation and rest guaranteed.
From summer 2017, you can, by reservation, get a pure moment of relaxation with a Californian massage offered on site.
Also, as part of our wellness program, we offer a detox and hikes formula accompanied by naturopathic advice (to be planned before your arrival).

Thoroughly enjoyed

We really enjoyed our stay, it was extremely relaxing ( so quite at night only wildlife), the appartment was perfect with a big terrace and access to a large garden and pool. The owners were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast and dinner were excellent ( also catering for vegans and vegetarians). The area is excellent for exploring the region, also the coast but be prepared to drive a little. All in all we had a lovely week and will definitely be back to explore South toward Bordeaux next time

Magnifique gîte!

Gîte très bien aménagé tout près de la piscine avec partie terrasse privative garantissant une intimité totale. Vraiment un magnifique endroit que nous recommandons fortement! De plus, Les propriétaires sont très sympas et très réactifs !

Beau gite au calme

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans votre gite. L'accueil était très bien et nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous dès les premiers instants. Le fait que nous soyons seuls au gite a aussi rendu les choses plus faciles forcément. La piscine est au top, nettoyée et fermée tous les jours, ce qui est un plus car elle est totalement propre. Le gite en lui-même était très propre aussi, la douche à l'italienne très jolie. Niveau ustensiles, tout est parfait, manque juste peut-être des accessoires pour le barbecue et des maniques (ainsi que pour le nettoyer, ce que nous n'avons pas su faire et nous l'avons précisé à votre maman). Le seul point négatif à notre goût est le wifi: uniquement accessible au milieu du jardin (faiblement) - pas de réseau non plus dans le gite même (4G ou appels), ce qui est très problématique car qd on nous appelait, nous ne le savions pas. Tout cela n'était pas spécifié dans l'annonce et je pense qu'il est opportun de le savoir (Ayant un grand-père à l'hôpital, c'était inquiétant de se dire qu'il n'y avait pas moyen de nous joindre qd nous étions dans le gite, même sur notre terrasse ou piscine). L'endroit est très calme, très agréable, et les alentours du gite très jolis. Dommage que les commerces sont si loin. Aussi, si je peux donner un conseil, ça serait de mettre quelques jeux au moins pour la piscine. Nous avions prévu le coup, mais ça apporterait encore un plus :) Dans l'ensemble, tout était très chouette et je le recommande vivement pour les personnes qui n'ont pas besoin de réseau. Je bouge donc une étoile pour ce point négatif, sinon j'aurais mis 5.
