Villa Fayence Authenticity and luxe in the middle of olive trees unique place

We, two families with in all four children from four to eigth years old, arrived late on a Saturday in June and were greeted by the owner, Jean Pierre, with wine from the local vineyard. That was nice after a long day of traveling.

The first thing I want to mention is that the place is actually as nice as you can see on the pictures. The view is fantastic, the pool was the expected size, the house and furniture is of high quality (no plastic or Ikea, and it actually looks like the outdoor furniture was upgraded since the pictures were taken), the grass is green and soft (not unpleasant and hard as you may find elsewhere) and the area is peaceful.
After arrival Jean Pierre sat down and helped us with some local facts, like where to find the grocery stores, places worth visiting, recommended beaches and good local restaurants (in several price ranges). We only visited two of the restaurants, but they were both excellent.

During our stay we didn't need to contact the owner at all. We didn't miss anything. Either we are very easy to please or the place was very well planned for visitors and has all we need to create a nice holiday. There was also a janitor (very funny guy) keeping the pool and place neat. Halfway through our visit the house was cleaned and we got clean sheets and towels. This was a much appreciated service. They even emptied the washing machine.

We have rented a few houses in France through the years, and this is the nicest place we've been to. After one day we were talking about when and with whom we would return. I hope we can come back once.
When we came back home we talked about what was the single best thing about the vacation. We agreed that it was the house.
