Beautiful house, beautiful setting.

We had a wonderful week's holiday in this charming little house. We found it so much larger than the photos portray. It was very clean and well maintained. It had everything you could possibly need. Huge garden with so many different areas to sit and relax. Three minute walk to the beach and ten minute walk along the beach to Calvi town. The owners were very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend this property to relatives and friends.

Charming cottage in a great location

We had a lovely time staying at 'Le Sun'. It is more charming than the photos suggest in my view and is very peaceful ( except for one night when there was music from a nearby hotel.) It is in a nice, private spot but also very conveniently located close to the supermarket Casino and also very close to the beach. It would be great for children particularly as there is a nice space around the cottage. Evelyne was lovely, giving us a tour of the town by car when we arrived, and very welcoming and helpful. The cottage was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything you could need. The kitchen was very well equipped. Calvi is a really charming town, not too big or touristy and the walk along the promenade by the beach to get into the town a very easy and pretty 10 min stroll. All the locals were very friendly. I think it would be helpful if you have a bit of French but I'm sure you'd get away without it as everyone seemed very happy to help. As the cottage is booked Sat to Sat and when we visited ( May 2013) the were no direct flights to Calvi we flew Easy Jet to Nice then Air Corse to Calvi which was fine and about the same price as a direct flight. A taxi from the airport is 20 euros. We had a great stay - highly recommended - and we would definitely like to return at some point.

Schöne Zeit in Calvi

Die Lage des Objekts quasi direkt am Strand ist wirklich toll. Trotz relativer Nähe zur Straße und zur Einkaufsmöglichkeit war es gleichwohl ruhig. Man kann viel unternehmen und braucht das Auto nicht wirklich. Das Haus ist groß für 4 Personen , bietet alle notwendigen Einrichtungen und ist gut ausgestattet. Sehr zu empfehlen, gerne wieder.

Maison très agréable

Merci à notre hôte qui nous a chaleureusement accueillis et bien conseillés sur les lieux à visiter dans la région. La maison est idéalement située à 3mn à pieds de la plage. Bel espace intérieur, terrasse et jardins très agréables pour se détendre ou faire un petit barbecue. Tout l'équipement nécessaire en cuisine est à disposition. Les lits sont faits à l'arrivée et endroit très calme pour bien dormir. En résumé je recommande vivement ce gite.
