An excellent break

The apartment is a very comfortable and clean place to stay.Elisabeth is a very helpful and friendly host. The apartment's location is excellent for walking around the Marais area. There are plenty of museums, interesting walks, cafes, restaurants and a wide range of shops. We walked everywhere!

Utterly charming

Once you pass through the heavy street door, down a wide passageway and into the large courtyard, you leave the noise of the street behind and enter a world of green calm. The owner, M. Amsallem was extremely welcoming and obliging and really couldn't have been more helpful. The normal check-in time is 4.00 but we were able to take possession at 1.00 p.m. We were also able to leave our luggage with the concierge on the last day so we could have another few hours of sight-seeing after officially vacating the flat. The flat itself is light and airy,with high ceilings and tall windows with views onto the side street . It had everything it promised from the website. Lovely bathroom, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bed The area is one of the nicest in Paris and not crowded with lots of tourists. There are masses of places to eat and there's even a good restaurant beside the front entrance, a boulangerie for superb breakfast croissants (and lots of other tempting patisseries) about 2 mins further on and a small supermarket about 5 mins away. The Marais has lots of museums almost on the door step but just wandering around the streets, looking at the architecture and the shops is a pleasure in itself. I really can't imagine anywhere better to stay in Paris.

Perfect Place to Stay

I highly recommend Elisabeth’s apartment in Le Marais as a place to stay when visiting Paris. Not only is the location perfect for getting around the city (multiple close Metro stations) but the apt itself is fantastic. We were promptly met by the guardian and able to get early access which was greatly appreciated. The building is quiet and inviting and provides a great respite after a long day of exploring the city. We will definitely recommend to others and, when we return, would definitely stay there again!!

Lovely apartment, excellent location

The apartment was exactly as the pictures. The location is excellent, close to two major metro lines. Plenty of shopping and dining in the neighborhood. Very comfortable apartment. Elisabeth was very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend this property.
