From Nice on the A8:
- Take exit # 36 "Le Muy, Draguignan-St Tropez" and head towards "Les Arcs", "Taradeau" and join "Lorgues" by the D10 highway. This villa is on Route Arcs just before the village of Lorgues.
From Aix-en-Provence on the A8:
- Take exit 13 "Le Luc - Le Cannet des Maures" and follow the direction Vidauban and then Lorgues by DN7. This villa is on Route Arcs just before the village of Lorgues.
Lorgues is a pretty little town in the middle of the Var department. The city that has it all, is increasingly seen. Main Street is the largest avenue of plane trees in France.
In Lorgues, many restaurants found (at Bruno King Truffle, 1 Michelin star 500m from your villa OR Chrissandier Restaurant in the village), cellars and wine areas (Château de Berne) and all the advantages of a small town (Provencal markets, hairdressers, banks, money launderers, post offices, cafes and restaurants).
Every Tuesday at noon there is a very famous market where you can buy anything you want.
In the immediate vicinity, there are some nice villages and many monuments and attractions.
A 45-minute drive, you are in the Gorges du Verdon from one side by the sea on the other side (Sainte Maxime, Grimaud, Frejus port).
You will find in the area rich in heritage, many activities to do such as visiting the Abbey Thoronet, many wineries, including Chateau de Berne with its gourmet restaurant, hiking, biking, or horseback. ..
A must visit is the Gorges du Verdon and Lake St. Croix. The findings are to be expected for the village of Salerno famous for its tiles and ceramics.
Throughout the summer, many different events are available (festivals, music, exhibitions).
In the surrounding countryside you will find many opportunities to take walks or excursions sports bike.
