Lovely house but not thrilked with Lasarte.

Beautiful house and garden. Javier and Miguel were very friendly hosts and met us in Lasarte to escort us to the house. Lasarte itself was disappointing, squashed between motorways, and a difficult place to drive round.

Beautiful house close to San Sebastian

Thank you Miguel and Javier for sharing your beautiful house with us and for making us, and our small dog so welcome. We really enjoyed the garden with the dining area and the comfy seating area. The journey into San Sebastian by metro and by bus was easy and San Sebastian is a lovely city to visit. Your house is very spacious and beautifully furnished. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very enjoyable family stay

My wife and I stayed with our 3 adult children. The house is spacious and very well furnished and has a quality feel about it. The garden areas are nice and provides an idea area to eat and relax, all totally private. San Sebastian is about a 20 minute drive and Lasarte has plenty of places to food shop and eat nearby

Idyllic hillside villa. Ideal base for exploring the Basque region

We spent a week at this secluded hillside villa and enjoyed every minute. In the lead up to the holiday Javier was very helpful with advice and information and Miguel met us in Lasarte-Oria town and guided us up to the house. He was very helpful and friendly, taking time to show us around the house and pointing out places of interest and beauty in the region. They were available throughout the holiday without being pushy. The house itself was stunning, as per the photos and very clean. There are modern appliances WiFi and cable TV. There are well kept gardens and nice hill walks to be had from the front door. However, a car is a must here, unless you fancy a 1km walk up the hill at the end of the day. The Basque region is beautiful, with numerous small towns dotted along the coast from Bilbao all the way to France. France is only a 30 minute drive away and easily accessible via the autoroute or coast road. The local cuisine is delicious and reasonably priced and if you fancy a bit of self catering, there's a large commercial centre in Lasarte-Oria that sells fresh local produce. The Basque people were all very friendly and helpful, wherever we went. Many thanks to Javier and Miguel for our stay. Nick & Zara

Lovely

We had a lovely two week holiday. The house was comfortably furnished, though the beds were a bit hard for us, and the outside dining area and pool were a wonderful bonus. A car is essential but beautiful beaches, towns and cities are easily accessible.
