ULTRA LUXURY! WILDLIFE! 4 BD, THEATER, HIGH END FINISH

Photos and Description of this 4 bedroom holiday cabin in Estes Park - Little Valley Falls

Cabin, 4 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)

Want the best? The absolute finest? This is the real deal! If you are looking for impeccable craftmanship and immaculate cleanliness that is 5 star quality and a cut above all the rest, you've found it! This is the very best! Hand built by the owner with materials from around the world, this 3500 square feet home sits on 4 manicured acres. It features pines and a huge grove of Aspen trees bathed in a sea of wildflowers.

This is not a kid friendly house and we try very hard to make it top notch. We have to limit the number of quests due to septic restrictions. It IS the finest place to stay for adults.

Water feature? In the front yard and viewable from the dining room is a seasonal stream that cascades over a 400 ton rock waterfall. This provides drinking water for the wildlife that gathers here.

Wildlife? On any given day you could see deer, elk, bear, bobcat, raccoon, rabbit, squirrel, coyote and birds of all kind frequently drink here.In the past we even had Condors! Keep your eyes open for our resident flock of about 40 wild turkeys that will eat out of your hand!

With 9 skylights, there is plenty of natural illumination and the massive walls make the home a refuge of solitude. Log accents and vaulted ceilings abound. The upper level features a vaulted entry through a handmade mesquite door, living room with wood stove, kitchen with dual fuel range, Advantium oven, dishwasher, enormous garden window, and distressed hickory cabinets. Of course, almost every kitchen appliance and utensil you could want is there, too.

Decks: There are two, one in the front and back. The rear deck overlooks the Mountain Man Rendezvous scene from 'Centennial.' At night, relax and watch the canopy of stars in the velvet sky.

Home Theater: Not a TV with a few speakers, this is a dedicated 5.1 channel audiophile room with high end equipment, acoustically tuned, and recliner chairs for 3. The sound qulity easily exceeds commercial theaters.

Bedrooms: All have luxurious high end mattresses and the finest bedding.

The master suite has a king bed facing the stone gas powered fireplace,a TV with its own satellite receiver and a wall of mirrors covering the walk-in closet.

The master bath is a wonder of stone imported from Greece, India,Mexico,Italy,Brazil and Tennessee with a rock wall on one side. A vessel sink is framed by two antler sconces. This is also accessible from the front deck. The deck off the living room has great views of the area where the Mountain Man Rendezvous was filmed for 'Centennial'.

Down the beetle-killed pine spiral stairs to the lower level and you'll find a tiled tour-de-force full bath, a smaller bedroom with a trundle bed, and an open luxurious Queen bed suite with a huge stone fireplace fronted by a solid copper grille, complete with its own 32 inch TV.

Off in its own room is another pillowtop Queen bed and leather massage chair, ready to ease those stiff muscles from a day of hiking.

Work it out! There is a mirrored exercise room complete with home gym, bicycle on magnetic track stand, and other equipment.

Sit out on the porch at night and watch the moon through the quaking leaves of the aspen reflecting in the pond. Solitude, yet only 3 miles from downtown Estes Park.

Hiking: Just out the door and up the road to the National Forest, 1 1/2 miles to RNMP, or take the short three mile hike to downtown Estes Park.

Dining: Some of the best dining is close by, and you don't have to fight the traffic to get there.

There is a door to the master suite but the wall is open across the top. This is an open plan and the privacy comes from being the only bedroom upstairs.

Please Note: Absolutely no tobacco products of any kind and we request you leave your shoes in the entryway. Sorry, no pets of any kind, and children TWELVE and over due to the exceptional high end finish and safety issues. We are also limited to 6 people total as this is on a septic system. However, for the ultimate luxury stay that exceeds high end hotels, and for those that appreciate and take care of a fine home, this property has no peer. .

Close enough to town but isolated among most of the aspen trees in Little Valley the spring fed stream and hillside provides lots of flowers, cover for wildlife, solitude, and awesome sky views at night. Hiking is right out the front door and there is never a day without some kind of wildlife paying a visit.

WONDERFUL HOME AWAY FROM HOME

  • 5 out of 5
This home is a great place to stay while visiting Estes. It is everything it says and more. It is clean and exactly as it appears online. The owner is very responsive and conscientious. It is convenient to the park as well as old town and the shopping area. I would definitely stay here again.

Our family spent a wonderful week in this beautiful home last summer. The location is perfect…close to town and RMNP. We enjoyed the hummingbirds by the lake, and woke up one morning to a herd of elk, strolling through the front yard! The home is beautifully furnished, well maintained, and had more than adequate space for our family.

Perfect setting for a rough holiday to get through this year. Owners made their home so inviting and comfortable for us. Had a few glitches but owner was readily available by phone at all times to help talk through some minor concerns.
Would highly recommend this home for a great mountain getaway!

LISA IN GEORGIA

My husband and I along with our adult children enjoyed a wonderful stay at this Estes Park cabin in June of this year. We found the cabin to be even nicer than the listing photos reflected and found the owners very receptive to all our questions and concerns.
The scenery of Rocky Mountain Park was wonderful and we especially enjoyed seeing it by horseback as well as by driving Trail Ridge Road . We enjoyed an evening meal at the Lodge at Mary"s Lake and had a great (and huge) breakfast at Bighorn Restaurant. I think the highlight of our trip was returning to our cabin one evening to see two elk, a deer and a bear with two cubs all from our driveway. We would definitely recommend this property to our friends or relatives.

WOW! WHAT AN AMAZING AND WONDERFUL PLACE FILLED WITH SO MUCH BEAUTY.

  • 5 out of 5
We arrived the first week of June and were so delighted when we crossed the stream (creek?) lined with aspen trees that separates the home from the main road. The lawn area was covered with the brightest wildflowers and yellow dandelions and the pond with its cascading waterfall was so inviting. Upon entering the house, the owner paid homage to that Colorado icon, John Denver, with a drawing of him along with a pair of boots and a sheepskin jacket and hat on display.

The whole home is a cut above any rental home we have stayed at as it is the owner's personal residence and still contains many personal items, from the artwork to the VERY interesting library.
The decor and the cleanliness is impeccable. This is truly an adult retreat for those that want the very finest. The kitchen, while small, has everything one could hope for and more. It looks like they went wild shopping at Bed Bath n' Beyond.

The home theater is a delight with one of the best sounding systems we have heard (at least my husband says so!) and such a great place to watch movies. But the whole home is decorated with so many little touches that delight the eye. It didn't take but a minute upon going through the home to realize that the pictures don't even come close to relaying how beautiful the interior is. And the master suite certainly is masterful, with high ceilings, a fireplace, huge walk-in closet, and fabulous bath. The shower looks like a forest of vines, and the owner said he hand picked the tiles so that they would replicate the look of a triple canopy jungle, with the light just breaking through near the top. Truly amazing.

While we were there a momma bear and cubs visited the pond during breakfast one day, and we saw deer, a variety of cute little chipmunks, rabbits, birds, and a wild turkey! Sitting on the bench by the pond surrounded by the aspen trees while the sun shone through wafting clouds was very relaxing.

That said, this home is better suited to those that appreciate quality and understand the value of an impeccably cleaned and maintained personal residence. The master bedroom is open at the top into the living room, but the other beds are on the lower level so it would not be a problem if you had more in your party than we did. We would highly recommend it without reservation.

FAMILY VACATION TO ESTES PARK

  • 5 out of 5
My wife, daughter and myself went to Estes Park to see the fall beauty and to witness the Elk rutting season. We got more than we bargained for and here's why. The Aspen foliage was outstanding. There were more Elk than we had ever seen and they put on a great show. The accommodations here were excellant! This home is set just far enough away from Estes Park yet not to far and the surrounding counrtyside is peaceful and very beautiful. Most mornings when we got up to make coffee you could see deer roaming about which was a nice change of pace from the city. The home is very clean, well maintained with all the comforts and you could tell immediately that a lot of care goes into keeping this property up. We have always enjoyed our trips to this part of the country and when we come back we will certainly look at staying here again!
