About Christopher Shelley or Nicola Shelley
Chris has owned the house for over 22 years now. Bought as a wreck it has been converted into a well loved family home over the years. The newest part is the old cow barn to the left of the house as you look at it. It is now a huge living space ideal for family groups and with tv and wi-fi if you need it! Chris has lived and worked overseas and in England over the years but always loves bringing his family and friends here. For him, it has become the perfect place to relax (although there are always a few jobs to be done!) The house has been the source of many fond memories- family parties and significant birthdays have been celebrated here - even a wedding!
Christopher Shelley or Nicola Shelley purchased this house in 1992
Why Christopher Shelley or Nicola Shelley chose Tremolat
It is close to the airport (40 minute drive) and the delightful town of Tremolat. The Dordogne River is at the bottom of the field in front of the house. However a short drive away are the towns of Limeuil, Lalinde and Le Bugue and Bergerac with all the shops and facilities that you would need
What makes this house unique
As the house naturally forms 2 parts it is a great place to bring 2 families. Plenty of shared communal space along with space to be on your own for a while! The newly refurnished pool has great views over the fields, interrupted only by the passing of the local train chugging in the distance. The views over the fields to the front of the property are perfect to enjoy over morning coffee or an aperitif.
