Excellent apartment in the very centre of Montmartre
This apartment is literally 50 metres away from the Place de Tertre. It is large for such a central location and very well equipped. We needed nothing other than food and drink. The bedroom is a good size for central Paris, the bathroom is small but well fitted, with an excellent shower, the living room is large with a separate area to cook and eat.
Being central you do get some noise from the street until late at night but that is understandable for the location - I'm a light sleeper so used earplugs and slept fine.
If you don't want to spend too much time in the busy centre of Montmartre then go left and walk down the hill to the much quieter Abbesse area (ten minutes walk) for really good places to eat and shop.
The owner Alexandra communicated really well with us by message both before and during the stay (in French). She doesn't speak much English but we got by with my limited French.
Would highly recommend if you want to be in the heart of it all.
