Facing the barreer reef, and overlooking the ocean where the whales pass by every year from July to October. Fully refurbished and equipped, this is the perfect place to enjoy the island way of life - capacity up to 6 guest. Moorea island is a must, offering spectacular mountains views and turquoise waters of a beautiful lagoon. A car is highly recommended to get to all the exciting places of the island
Beach and Lagoon: The Beach house is right on the beach, but there is also a hidden and beautiful area at 5mn walking distance, and the most beautiful beach of the island is at 1 km. On the other side of the island, Haapiti, lies another nice beach (Kite surf spot, curses available), accessible through les Tipaniers Hotel. Take a ride (paying) from the hotel to 'le motu' which is a beautiful islet where to spend the whole day (tiny Restaurant available over there)
Take a ride between the 2 bays of Cook and Opunohu (interior road), to discover the beauty of this volcanic island - plantations, Ranch (horse riding), trekking along easy paths, and get up to the Belvédère to be thrown away by fantastic views over the bays (by the road, or trek)
Major supermarket is by the Pier, but I recommend to check opening days of Friedman's fishing market place to buy the best quality of fresh and good fish (Village of Maharepa, 4 kms away from the house). Maharepa is the place to find anything you need (doctors, banks, shops, curios, markets).
You will find at walking distance, by the Beach house, a tiny supermarket (very very small but helpful) and a good value for money local Restaurant (GOLF LODGE)
