Harbor Springs is 'Michigan's Best Little Kept Secret'. Nestled in Hidden Hamlet, at the base of Nubs Nob is a skiers paradise. Only a walking distance away, your own personal locker awaits the arrival of your skis, at the Lodge during your stay with us. Whether you Down Hill, or Cross Country the convince is yours to enjoy.

Once you end your day on the slopes enjoy sitting by a wood burning fireplace, a soothing soak in the Jacuzzi, or a wonderful calm steamy sauna, of cedar.

In the Fall and Summer after a day of golf, biking, boating, or what ever you enjoy, sit on the deck by the chimera, while cooking on the gas grill. If you have children, you can watch them from the deck as they play in the large yard below.

Enjoy taking walks whether it be through the leaves, or kicking the fluffy snow.

This Home is very open and spacious, 2400 sqft. The main living area is on the upper level, and includes living, dining, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, and a full bath. Above the fireplace is a large flat screen tv. Off the living area leads to the deck.
The lower living area includes 1 bedroom, a living area with a queen pull out, and a full bathroom, with Jacuzzi, Cedar Sauna, and laundry room. 3 tv's and dvd.

The Village community of Harbor Springs is quaint. Only 5 minutes away, you can enjoy fine dining, antiques, local artisans, and boutiques in this classy little town. Sail boat regattas are popular here. If you enjoy biking you can ride the path from Harbor Springs, through Petoskey, to Charlavoix.
The Fall is beautiful, and the 'tunnel of trees', a must.

Other equally quaint towns include Good Heart, Cross Village, Petoskey, Boyne City, Charlavoix, and Mackinaw City. All have much to offer, and each town not more than 30 minutes away.
All towns have local art, and craft shows throughout the summer.

Boyne Highlands is a ski and golf resort, and is across the street.

Cross Village is known for 'The Legs Inn', great Polish cuisine, and Three Pines, an artisan shop.
Good Hart, great little gift shops, and General Store.

Petoskey is home to the Odawa Casino. You can enjoy gambling or take in a live entertainment show. Great boutiques, fine dining, parasailing, and MUCH more.

Boyne Mountain/City enjoy skiing, large indoor water park, shops, and dining.

Charlavoix is mostly a summer place. Great art and craft shows, and the Venetian festival is fun and the boat show of lights is amazing.

Bay Harbor is known for its Harbor, and Championship Golf Courses. Wonderful fine dining, and boutiques.

Mackinaw City is the furthest drive. Enjoy the Fort, many fudge shops, boutiques, and restaurants. Take a Ferry Boat if you want to experience going back in time, on Mackinac Island.

Most of these quaint towns are on Lake Michigan, where you may find yourself your very own Petoskey Stone.

Visit, and make yourself at home.

Wonderful stay!
We had a wonderful weekend! Beautiful location, the cabin was clean and so inviting. The spa and sauna were great added bonuses after 2 full days of skiing. We can highly recommend staying here and look forward to coming again next ski season.

Fantastic location to ski Nubs
Amazing location for skiing at Nubs Nob. Cute place but kitchen could use some TLC (and good cleaning). Missing key kitchen items (ie. cutting board, measuring cups & spoons). Great location to ski but no real space for gear so lower level can get really tight fast.

Feels like an “up north” home. Ski Locker is great!
Kim is a wonderful host. We enjoyed our stay. Everything was exactly as promised. Entry was easy. The ski locker at Nubs is really a huge advantage. We used it everyday. Good idea to get all the snow off your equipment before storing to avoid puddles. Property is very close to Nubs. Our group came back to the house for lunch every day. It’s nice to take a break and have some warm soup or chili. I brought a crock pot since there isn’t one in the house. The description does not mention a dishwasher, and we knew that ahead of time, so we took turns washing up. Lots of hot sudsy water. It was a little more work than I expected. We like the washer and dryer. The sauna is very very nice especially after a long day out in the cold. Good WiFi strength and there is cable TV = bonus. The big bear in the corner is a fun addition. We posed for a few pics!!

Good place to stay
Great location close to Harbor Springs. Allowed us to use the house as a base camp for beach days, hiking, and charter boat fishing for a long weekend getaway.

About the host

I grew up in Metro Detroit, and enjoyed spending the weekends in beautiful Northern Michigan with my family. Although we like spending time on the golf course, or out on the lake, our passion will always be skiing.

Why they chose this property

This home provided us with a home away from home, on weekends and holidays, as our son pursued his skiing career, and our other children enjoyed snowboarding.

What makes this property unique

The uniqueness of the area quickly drew us to live full time in Northern Michigan while our children were still of school age.
The area is full of wonderful amenities, and charm, and this home is in the center of them all!
