Très belle maison traditionnelle

Nous avons sejourné 10 jours dans cette maison avec nos 2 enfants de 6 et 2 ans. Un acceuil exceptionnel nous a été réservé par Leila. Leila nous a fait découvrir cette somptueuse maison et nous a donné toutes les informations utiles pour bien démarrer notre séjour à Hammamet. C'est une belle maison traditionnelle bien équipée. Toutefois bien qu'il y ait des ventilateur a disposition, il est nécessaire d'investir dans une climatisation car la chaleur est très présente dans toute la maison. La structure de la maison est son atout majeur mais n'est pas adapté aux enfants en bas âges, surtout avec les escaliers qui mènent au premier étage et à la piscine. Il faut donc rester très vigilant. Il faudrait également mettre a jour le guide de séjour de la maison qui n'est pas à jour. Autrement, nous avons apprécié la localisation de la maison, en plein centre du vieux Hammamet, au coeur de la Médina toujours très animée. Mention spéciale à Leila pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité!

Belle expérience de vivre avec les Tunisiens dans cette médina d ‘Hammamet.La maison est superbe et nos voisins très accueillants. Le seul bémol est le manque de propreté des plages publiques.A découvrir.

Awesome vacation!

We stayed in Villa Chiara a full week during September and we loved it! The house is elegantly decorated and allows the guests privacy and independence. We spent our evenings in the patio or by the (very small) pool. The main surprise was Leila, the house manager who is also the housekeeper and the cook. She is such an amazing cook that we ended up dining there every night and not even think about restaurants. We went to the beach in front of the Medina but also at the Residence Janet in North Hammamet where the beach is wider and the water clearer. It was an amazing week and we miss Leila's cooking very much!

Un super séjour...

"La maison est effectivement à la hauteur de la présentation. La décoration est raffinée et possède l''élégance rare de la sobriété. Ce qui n’est pas toujours le cas sur les différentes annonces consultées, il n’y a, de mon point de vue, aucune faute de goût. Les livres éparses sont intéressants, ils permettent une approche de la Tunisie et nous avons trouvé quelques romans d’auteur à succès. Des terrasses vous découvrez la mer dont on entend le ressac quand elle est agitée, c''est un havre de paix infiniment plus personnel qu''un séjour à l''hôtel. Si vous utilisez Leila, elle s''occupe de vos repas, c’est la perle de la maison, la cerise sur le gâteau, elle fait les courses, la cuisine et le ménage avec une discrétion et une efficacité exemplaire. Il faut lui donner un peu d’argent pour les courses et ses émoluments sont des plus raisonnables. Il ne vous reste plus qu’à faire ce qu’il vous plait. Nous avons pris trois repas + les petits déjeuners mais ce fut une erreur, nous aurions dû y prendre presque tous nos repas sauf lors de nos déplacements. Nous sommes descendus à 2 avec un ami mais nous aurions facilement pu être 6 et profiter d’un espace tout à fait raisonnable. Nous étions là, du 5 au 12 octobre 2013 pour un séjour de golf, nous avons joué les deux golfs du Citrus, celui du Yasmine et le panorama course d’El kantaoui. Les golfs du citrus et le Yasmine sont à 15 mn en voiture de la maison, ceux du Citrus sont extrêmement bien entretenus, celui du Yasmine un peu moins mais reste parfaitement jouable. Ceux d’El kantaoui sont moins intéressants, il faudrait probablement jouer celui qui est au Nord de Tunis. Il n’y avait pratiquement personne sur les golfs, le tourisme semblait figé alors qu’il n’y a aucune agressivité et que le calme règne, pour nous c’était divin mais pas pour le PIB Tunisien. Nous avions loué une voiture chez Camelcar à l’aeroport de Monastir, 170 euros pour 8 jours avec une peugeot 301 en parfait état. Nous avons visité Sousse qui dispose d’un musée récent où sont exposés de magnifiques mosaiques datant du 3ème siècle , nous avons malheureusement loupé celui du Bardo à Tunis, qui semble incontournable.
