Large, spacious, independent

Stone facade, this stylish home, facing south and east lies on a vast lawn dotted with fruit trees or ornamental. Rooms renewed bedding and decoration rethought. Spacious and bright living. Two lounges, one in front is small with large sofa and the other on the south façade, large, with a sofa and armchairs. Two bathrooms, 3 toilets.

Independent and fenced property. No direct vis-à-vis .. And outside, a large orchard, lawn, separate from the house garden by a little busy road. All quiet. We are at home but not locked ..

In town (1km), you can buy bread and pastry bakery overlooking the award winning Bénigousse river and get your friends to 'The Little Gourmet' (excellent quality: price) restaurant .. Dentist and physiotherapist. Rénové.Bibliothèque town center and public garden.

The township (4kms), you will find the services you need: food and crafts, doctors and pharmacists, garages and banks, restaurants, swimming pool, tennis ... And 25kms, large sandy beaches and coves discrete the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic.

Maison poussiéreuse et mauvaise literie

La literie de la maison est en mauvais état, et nous avons dû mettre le matelas par terre. Malheureusement, la moquette, très poussiéreuse comme le reste de la maison, dégageait une mauvaise odeur, et nous avons assez mal dormi. Par ailleurs, dans la chambre des enfants, les lits sont trop hauts pour qu'on puisse y faire dormir des enfants jeunes. L'une des deux salles de bains est difficilement accessible. Enfin, il n'y a pas de vrai salon à disposition (la pièce à côté de la cuisine est peu agréable). En revanche, l'extérieur de la maison est très joli, le jardin est agréable, ainsi que la grande cuisine.

Owner's Response: Sur les 6 lits de la location, la literie de l'un se révèlerait déficient. Nous l'apprenons. Nous la changeons. Quant aux 2 lits dans une autre chambre, lits saintongeais en bois,dits ici "lits pour enfants" (1,20 m de large), nous préciserons dans l'annonce et le contrat leur hauteur : 0,70 m. Pour bébé, lit et chaise haute disponibles. Sur les 8 pièces louées dans la maison, le plancher d'une seule est couvert de moquette. Régulièrement cette dernière est shampouinée. Des deux salles d'eau de la maison, toutes les deux au rez-de-chaussée, la seconde est à 10 m de la première, traversée effectuée d'une salle pour le service de laquelle elle a été initialement réalisée. Quant à la pièce attenante à la salle à vivre, le peinture en a été refaite en juin dernier et l'aménagement en salon se poursuit. Deux fois par an, les planchers (4 chambres, escalier et couloirs) sont cirés, et avant toute location, toutes les pièces (sol et mobilier) sont dépoussiérés, les carrelages et salles d'eau wc, lavés. Vieille de 150 ans, cette maison de caractère, posée dans un environnement apprécié, cherche, au fil des transformations qu'elle subit, à ajuster son charme aux attentes de ses locataires.
