We were very impressed with the comfort of the apartment, well situated, within walking distance of the railway station and the old town. Exceptionally comfortable kingsize bed and excellent shower. The apartment is in a quiet area, well equipped and we had a very enjoyable stay.
We stayed in this apartment for 3 nights in late June. Tom Griffin made the reservation and payment process very easy and was very accommodating to all my questions. We had some trouble getting into the apartment on our arrival mostly due to the fact that our cell phones only worked with wi-fi and none is available at the Nice Airport. We also weren't aware that the apartment is in the B building and we stood outside building 15 for quite a while before a local lent us her cell phone and told us that 15 bis is the next door down.
The apartment is quite spacious with good size bedrooms. The queen sized bed was very comfy in the main bedroom and my kids were fine with sleeping on the twin beds or the couch. We never cooked a meal there, but it had plenty of dishes and pots and pans and a dishwasher. The washer was a nice plus and we dried all our clothes on the balconies on the rack or over the chairs. More hangers would have been nice since there were only about 3 or 4. The wi-fi worked great. The overhead shower spigot was not working while we were there so we had to sit and use the handicap spigots at waist level. This did not work at all for washing your hair so we used the kitchen sink. I'm assuming this will be fixed soon.
The best part was the location. It is only a 5 minute walk from the beach and there are plenty of patisseries and restaurants on the promenade or in the neighborhood. The Lidl grocery store was closed for renovation, but there are several tiny stores in the area. We loved the almond croissants at the bakery just around the corner on Rue de France. We walked to Old Town several times and this was about a 15-20 minute walk. The train station is also about 10-15 minutes away and we used that to go to Monaco and Ventimiglia, Italy. All in all this was a very nice apartment and I would recommend to others.

We have also realised that, while the appartment address is called out in the booking confirmation, we will also remind tenants about it before they arrive. We are really pleased you enjoyed your stay in both the apartment and in Nice as it really is a beautiful city.
Lived here for nine months with a friend. At the price we paid it is a very good deal. The two terraces are lovely! Just two blocks from the beach and a 10-15 minutes stroll into the city centre makes it a good location. Many supermarkets, boulangeries, boucheries etc around as it is a residential neighborhood. Throughout our stay the landlord was quick to respond and resolve any problems that we had.The kitchen is well equipped and living room large enough to have ten people for dinner.
All in all I had a great stay and would recommend it to anyone!
This second floor apartment is located two blocks back from the Promenade des Anglais and so is an easy stroll to the beach and to eating places. There is a small elevator in the building so, with four of us and luggage, it took two trips to get our belongings up to the apartment. Without luggage, all four of us fitted in fine.
The apartment represented a good value for money option for us. It has two bedrooms and did not feel cramped like many French apartments can do. The master bedroom has a decent sized bed (not sure if it's a king or a generous-sized queen) although one of the twin beds in the other room was considered somewhat uncomfortable by one of my teenage children.
There is a small balcony outside the kitchen area if you wish to people-watch as you eat breakfast. The apartment has some English language DVDs and we enjoyed watching the BBC World News service after a couple of weeks of news deprivation. There is free wifi in the apartment but, despite having the code, we had some difficulties getting Internet access. This could be our iPhones - I'm not sure. There is a local contact and, if we had have been really concerned about it, we could have called him.
There is a washing machine and good air conditioning in the apartment (both bedrooms and the lounge) so, along with the modernised decor, it is a comfortable apartment.
One thing to be aware of is that the bedroom curtains in both rooms are do not block out light. I had a really good eye shade with me but if you need 'dark' to sleep well like I do, come prepared.
A word about parking. It's a nightmare to have a car in Nice and, unless you want to drive around the corniches or similar, you don't need one here. In fact we elected to take our France car rental back early once we got to Nice. There is notarised parking on the street outside the apartment but as it is near a small Lidl, everyone double parks, it is not easy ot manouevre in, or out, easily. The nearest parking building (Massena) is a fair distance away if you do decide you need a car.
Summary: If you want inexpensive accommodation that is walking distance to the beach, this is a very good option. It is clean, modern and very comfortable.
