Lovely well kept mountain side property every thing we needed

Lovely home in the remote mountains surprisingly in a busy village lots of visitors to see the 39 paintings on the houses ,the 15 minute drive up and down is not for faint hearted but the views are amazing The property has lots of steps up to it good for a cardio work out but probably not good if you have walking difficulties Good restaurant further up the road and a bar cafe /shop in the village

Spent a lovely week in this three storey house in the hills of Northern Tuscany. The write up doesn't do it justice. It's a former farmhouse from the 18th century, with lots of original features like the beamed ceilings and the original open fireplace, complete with original handmade nails. Casoli is a lovely little village, clinging to a mountain side. Very quiet, other than the church bells and abundant bird-life. All windows open up onto the glorious views of the unpopulated mountain across the valley facing Casoli. Being high up it is also a get away from the heat of summer in the rest of Tuscany. It was also a delight to have your own garden with that same glorious view across the valley to enjoy your breakfast with the birdsong. Having your own car is essential given it's location, but it is well connected to the motorway network to all the major tourist attractions around. Only its remote location can explain the low cost of the appartment, as the house itself, and the welcome from the landlord's family exceeded expectations. David & Lisa

Domek położony jest na wysokości 400 m n.p.m. W otoczeniu zieleni z fenomenalnym widokiem na góry. Wokół panuje cisza, rankiem słychać strumyk i grające cykady. Można delektować się widokami korzystając z tarasu. Idealny na śniadania i kolacje. Temperatura jest okolo 3 stopnie niższa niż w poniższym miasteczku, dlatego wieczorem lepiej mieć bluzę. Miejsce jest przyjemne, z niezbędnymi sprzętami w kuchni, pralką, zmywarką, utrzymane w stylu toskańskim. Nad morze do Lido di Camaiore jest okolo 25 min autem. Do najbliższego sklepu w Camaiore okolo 15 min autem. Właściciele są bardzo mili, gościnni i pomocni. Okolica spokojna, wokół kilka opuszczonych, kilka zamieszkałych domów. Idealny urlop dla osób chcących obcować z naturą, ciszą, z dala od miejskiego zgiełku. Niedaleko znajduje się restauracja z domowymi daniami i ręcznie robionym makaronem. Casoli to dobra baza wypadowa do zwiedzenia północnej Toskanii a nawet Lugurii (Cinque Terre). Oczywiście dla osób podróżujących autem. Dziękujemy bardzo i polecamy.

Schönes Quartier in den Bergen am Ortsrand des Bergdorfes Casoli

Der Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man im Urlaub so braucht. Auf der Terrasse kann man morgens in der Natur mit Blick auf die gegenüberliegende Bergseite frühstücken. Der gewachsene kleine Ort selber ist sehr ruhig. Man lebt zwischen Einheimischen und denjenigen, die sich dort in alten Häusern Ferienwohnungen eingerichtet haben. Von der Haustür aus sind zahlreiche Bergwanderungen mit teils spektakulären Ausblicken möglich. Das Meer bei Viareggio, Besichtigungstouren in Pisa, Carrara und Lucca sind mit dem Auto gut möglich. Einziger Nachteil ist die etwas weite Serpentinenanfahrt von der Talebene bei Camaiore aus.
