We call this apartment the Samuel Beckett named afer the famous Irish novelist and poet. Ideally located just a 10 minute bus journey away from Dublin City centre and all it's amenities.

Located near the gates of Phoenix Park (Europe's largest urban park) Beautiful Victorian red brick house on tree lined street. A major supermarket is within 2 minutes walk and there are 2 restuarants within a 10 minute walk that we can highly recommend. This apartment has been recently refurbished to high standard of comfort to provide all the comforts of home with all mod cons. Fully equipped kitchen, satelite television, dvd player, extremely quiet location.

Excellant location for sightseeing.

I come from a family background in the hospitality industry.

I grew up in Kildare which is about 45 minutes from Dublin and worked for many years in my parents hotel there.

I emigrated to New York for a number of years and when I returned in 1990 I purchased this property in Dublin City.

As I am a qualified builder and carpenter I undertook to restore this house over a number of years and restore it to some of its former glory. As you can see from the pictures there are a lot of original features which I managed to retain and I am pleased that I can finally share them with people from all over the world.

I am now living in Kildare again and am married with a daughter.

As my parents before me I am committed to providing all of my guests with a wonderful holiday experience in a beautiful period house. I am available at all times for my guest either by phone or email and am happy to answer any query.

Liam Travers purchased this apartment in 1990

I chose this location for the proximity to the city centre and of course the beautiful Victorian Redbrick lined North Circular Road.

These properties are a feature of Dublin and are preserved by Dublin Council. The fact that the Phoenix Park and the Botanic gardens are within walking distances is an absolute plus, providing plenty of recreational activity. Numerous pubs, restaurants are within walking distance and I feel that the house provides a sense of character and charm not matched by modern buildings and houses.

This house has such character and personality that I am so pleased to be able to share it with guests.

Beautiful bay windows overlooking Dublin and the wonderfully high ceilings with detailed coving and centre pieces.

The magnificent marble fireplaces that warmed many a cold night with the original over mantles still intact.

A wonderful staircase and large welcoming hall are just some of the features that make this house a unique holiday location.

This house is a beautiful Victorian building on a tree lined street adjacent to the Phoenix Park and and Botanic Gardens situtated just 10 minutes from the city centre.

There are 3 spacious and comfortable apartments The Samuel Beckett - Sleeps 5, The JAmes Joyce - Sleeps 6 and our recently refurbished and restored W B Yeats. The Samuel Beckett has a modern touch to it while we maintained a lot of the original features in our James Joyce and W B Yeats apartment that both have high ceilings, marble fireplaces, overmantles, coving and beautiful bay windows.

We are located just 10 minutes from the city centre and have several bus routes that pass by the front door regularly. We are also close to the Luas (light rail) which covers all of Dublin.

This means that guests can enjoy the delights of the city and surrounding areas with ease and return to the relaxing calm of our apartments after a hard day sightseeing or shopping.

This location is perfect for the traveller as there is a major supermarket within a couple of minutes walk as well as a bakery, pharmacy, restaurants, coffee shops and pubs all within easy reach. Some of the pubs provide traditional Irish music for your entertainment and are a great night out.

These apartments have been lovingly restored and refurbished to a very high degree while retaining a lot of the original features to provide a classic and extremely luxurious stay. They are extremely comfortable and spacious with all the comforts of home which helps provides a wonderfully relaxing environment for the holidaymaker.

Within easy reach of all the fabulous sights such as Trinity College, Guinness Storehouse, Kilmainham Gaol, Farmleigh House, Jameson Distillery, National Gallery of Ireland, National History Museum, Dublin Zoo, Phoenix Park, Christchurch Cathedral, St. Stephens Green, restaurants, and of course shopping that Dublin has to offer.

We provide a welcome pack with the basics such as bread and milk etc to get you on your feet. All mod cons are provided and there is linen and towels freshly laundered for your use. We also provide a hair-dryer and an iron and ironing board.

The Samuel Beckett has a double and single bed and a pull down sofa and is suitable for 5.

The James Joyce has 2 double beds and a pull down sofa and is suitable for 6.

The WB Yeats has a double and a single bed and 2 pull down sofa beds and is suitable for 6.

There is a fully equipped kitchen in each apartments and dining area that will cater for 6. The bathrooms are spacious and modern and fresh towels are provided.

There is fridge with a small ice box, microwave, dishwasher and washer dryer so that anyone considering an extended stay can enjoy all the comforts of home. A cot can be provided upon request. For anyone considering exploring Ireland further there is a car hire company close by and Heuston Station is approx 15-20 minute walk.

If requested we can arrange an airport transfer for a fee.

While a car is not necessary we can provide free on street parking for guests.

All utilities and WiFi are provided and are included in the price.
