Young & old sports fans will let off steam at Cap Aventures located in the woods of a magnificent feudal castle (canopy tours, mountain biking, paintball..) for those who are calmer, trout fishing, walks in the woods… & after all these efforts… the comfort of a relaxation room w/ shower, infrared sauna…& good addresses where you can discover or taste our marvelous Champenois beverage.

No need to take the road, 2 reputed restaurants located 10 & 50m from your gite will welcome you w/ pleasure.. Unless you cook at home, everything is planned! We will take care of comfort. Bakery 50m away, warm croissants for breakfast…

Please Note: The owner of this property accepts payment in the original currency specified (Euro), before use of conversion tool. The conversion tool is provided for your convenience only. The owner may accept other currencies if specifically agreed in advance.

  • Charges included
  • During seasons needing heating, you’ll be asked for an additional €17/night (respecting the electricity rates, if you exceed the rate you will be charged, wood included in the rate) contact us about general conditions.
    In peak season, we rent preferably/ week, you can also contact us for another time period; we’ll do the most we can to satisfy you according to our availability.
  • The rates are indicated for the overall rental & for the maximum n° of 9 persons, water & electricity are included (rates must be respected. Should you exceed them you will be charged. (Contact us for general conditions) you have the possibility of renting the sheets (Euro 6 per person) & toilet linen for bath & sauna (rate of Euro 20 for 9), following inconveniences obligatory cleaning fee of Euro 65 whatever the duration of your stay.
    In order to maintain unity, a deposit of Euro 500 will be asked of you after the statement of state of repair on arrival & will be returned to you after the statement of state of repair on departure or returned by mail according to the state of the gite.
    An initial down payment of 30% will be asked of you upon booking then the balance will be paid a fortnight before your arrival. The contract will be addressed to you by mail as well as the bank details.
  • In high season, rentals are for a minimum of 7 nights & start on Saturday. The gite is available on the day of arrival from 4:00 p.m. and must be emptied on the day of departure before 10:00 a.m. Do not hesitate to ask us for stays shorter than 7 nights.
  • Contractual booking deposit: 30% rent
  • Damage deposit: €500.00

Great Gite in ideal village

A warm welcome from Francine into a warm and comfortable gite was the perfect end to a long sunday journey. Everything was as it should be and certainly as described. A short stroll to the Hotel de la Place across the road for a delicious supper completed our day. Both restaurants in the village served good food and the bakery was the ideal source of breakfast. Plenty of gentle strolls are available around the village and of course many small Champagne growers to visit. Mr/Mme Verrier in Etoges (10mins) were marvellous at sharing their passion for champagne and their wine was delicious. Highly recommend visiting them. For a more elegant dining experience the Chateau at Etoges can also be highly recommended. For lunch Auberge de St Fergeux in Gionges 20 mins away is ideal for all who enjoy consuming anything to do with duck. Very friendly service and delicious food.
As ever with a great place to stay saying farewell was the hard part, but we hope to return quite soon and would recommend to couples and families alike.
