This is a central London two bedroom apartment that has been completely renovated in Summer 2010. The accommodation is spacious, airy and light. The kitchen and bathroom are new with granite worktops in the kitchen and a marble bathroom.

It is well equipped and very comfortable.

We provide free WI-FI access,guest safe, coffee machine and quality linen. We have a fold up guest bed which can be used to accommodate a 5th guest (child)additional charges apply.

The apartment is situated in Zone 1, near the Southbank. It is possible to walk to Tate Britain

in 10 minutes and Big Ben, the London Eye and the Southbank center in 15/20 minutes.

View London from the river Thames, the river bus stop is 10 minutes walk from the apartment.

Park with children's play area, tennis courts and italian cafe two minutes walk away.

This apartment is my former home, very comfortable and very central. The street is very quiet but a short walk from the transport system to get you around town.

The Thames Clipper river bus is 5 minutes walk away and it is an amazing way to view the city and much cheaper than the tourist charter boats.

Great flat. Great Location

It was lovely to be met by Vito at the station and taken to the flat, just 3 minutes away.

The flat was beautifully clean and well equipped, and the cake, pastries and coffee left by the owners were very welcome. Very convenient for Vauxhall tube and overground station, this was an ideal location for visiting London. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it. Mary was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and the little Italian deli round the corner which Vito told us about was excellent.

Bellissimo appartamento;vivamente consigliato !!!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo bellissimo appartamento con due bimbe di 4 e 1 anni dal 17/4/2014 al 21/4/2014. Al nostro arrivo c'era il proprietario ad attenderci che ci ha aiutato con i bagagli e illustrato l'appartamento. Tutti i locali sono esattamente come si vedono nelle fotografie di presentazione. L'appartamento era pulitissimo, dotato di tutti confort, compresi numerosi giochi per le bambine. In casa abbiamo trovato una torta buonissima di benvenuto preparata dalla proprietaria, oltre a dei regali per le bimbe e generi di prima necessità in frigo per uno spuntino o per la colazione. Il quartiere è molto bello e tranquillo; a 30 metri c'è un negozietto di prodotti italiani e sulla via principale un ottimo ristorante che fa cucina portoghese (soprattutto pollo) anche con take away. La location è vicinissima al centro che si raggiunge anche a piedi: attraversando la strada, si arriva alla fermata autobus e metro e da li, per chi come noi non ha problemi a camminare (noi avevamo anche un passeggino doppio) in 15 minuti si raggiungono: the House of Parliament, il Big Ben, l'abazia di Westminster e con altri 20 minuti a piedi, Buckingham Palace.
Raccomandiamo di cuore questo bellissimo appartamento che è rimasto nel nostro cuore e nei nostri ricordi, così come i gentilissimi e ospitali padroni di casa e questa bellissima e civilissima città. Noi ci torneremo senz'altro molto presto.

Wir haben die Wohnung Anfang April mit 2 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern (16+12 J.) genutzt und empfehlen sie gern weiter. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war perfekt. Schnelle Antworten, umfangreiche Informationen, Ein netter, herzlicherEmpfang, ein gebackener Kuchen und ein gefüllter Kühlschrank haben uns erwartet. Die Wohnung ist genau wie beschrieben. Sehr gepflegt, neu renoviert, geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Badezimmer ist zwar etwas klein, aber wirklich schön und sehr geschmackvoll. Das heiße Wasser reicht, damit alle duschen können. Wasserdruck perfekt. Sogar eine zusätzliche Regendusche vorhanden! Handtüscher und Badetücher für alle ausreichend, sehr gute dicke Qualität. Die Schlafzimmer sind schön eingerichtet/Matratzen und Bettwäsche sind gut. Obwohl tagsüber die Flugzeuge über die Wohnung fliegen ist es dennoch ruhig. Nachts konnte man gut schlafen. Heizung funktioniert einwandfrei. Am besten eingerichtet ist die Küche: Es findet sich alles, ob Müllbeutel, Alufolie, Folie, Schürze, Spülmittel, Salz, Pfeffer, Korkenzieher...Alles das, was in anderen Ferienwohnungen gern fehlt ist hier vorhanden! Auch hier wieder alles top gepflegt Es gibt viele Spiele in der Wohnung- für Kleinkinder und auch für Jugendliche und Erwachsene. Toll auch die vielen unterschiedlichen Bücher über London. Der Fernseher ist gut, allerdings keine deutschen Sender möglich. Platz ausreichend für 4 (5) Personen. DIe Umgebung ist ok, ruhige Wohnstraße. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, nettes Cafe und Italiener in der Nähe vorhanden. Zu Fuß in wenigen Minuten bei der U Bahn. Oder in 20 Minuten zu Fuß an der Themse entlang beim Big Ben, London Eye, Westminster Abbey. Die Wohnung liegt im 3. Stock, ist gut gesichert, es gibt einen kleinen Safe für Wertgegenstände. Ausreichend Verstaumöglichkeiten, Schränke etc ebenfalls vorhanden. Wer eine Wohnung sucht, in der er sich wohlfühlen kann, ist hier goldrichtig. Ein Danke an den Vermieter, dass wir schon um 11 Uhr die Koffer abstellen durften und uns den Schlüssel abholen konnten. Und Danke für die Nettigkeiten wie den Kuchen, der besonders lecker war. Man merkt, dass Sie als Gastronom tätig waren. Sie wissen einfach, was Gäste mögen und für einen schönen Aufenthalt benötigen.

We rent Vito's appartement with my family and we had a great stay at London ! When we arrived, we found a beautiful appartment with a very cosy decoration, there are all equipement you need and the appartment is very quiet. It is close to the underground, so it is very useful, You arrive in London Center in few time. Many thanks to Vito for his kindness, his availability and the delicious cake made home ! PERFECT !!

Abbiamo soggiornato dal 26/10 al 29/10/2013. Appartamento al secondo piano molto bello, pulitissimo, arredato con gusto. I proprietari sono persone squisite e il signor Vito è di una gentilezza fuori dal comune. Ci ha attesi alla fermata della metropolitana, che è Vauxhall ed è vicinissima, per accompagnarci nei circa 200 (!!) metri di distanza e farci vedere l'appartamento dove era già presente tutto il necessario per la prima colazione del giorno dopo ed una torta fatta in casa dalla moglie. Addirittura abbiamo trovato gli adattatoti di corrente che ci eravamo scordati di portare da casa. Il signor Vito ci ha concesso anche un prolungamento della disponibilità dell'appartamento di qualche ora causa volo serale. Ho segnato cinque stelle perchè non se ne potevano mettere altre. Grazie di tutto. Se torneremo a Londra senza dubbio torneremo qui (disponibilità permettendo) ;-)

Perfect stay

We booked this accommodation at the last minute and the owners were very accommodating. I would say that the apartment is better than the pictures, very clean, well furnished and in a quiet but central location. Transport and restaurants are very close by and we were able to enjoy all the sights/shopping of central London.
The welcome from the owners was excellent and we highly recommend this accommodation. Thank you

The accommodation is located just 3 minutes from Vauxhall station and two stops from Victoria Station. Vauxhall is a new transport interchange and it is possible to take the train, Tube or several buses all over London. It is 4 stops or 10 minutes to the West End/Oxford Street/Regent street on the tube.

From Kings cross-St Pancras you can take a direct tube to Vauxhall station- it takes 15 minutes on the Victoria line.

The Gatwick express train runs every 15 minutes between the airport and Victoria station.

Bus/coach services from Standsted Airport to Victoria station run four times per hour and take approx 1 hour.Check in time is from 3pm to 11pm Check out time is by 10.30am. Please contact us for check in outside of these hours

If you would like to view London from the river, the river bus stop is 7 minutes walk from the apartment,the Thames clipper is a passenger riverboat.

Bike hire is available from Vauxhall Station

There are restaurants and cafe within walking distance. Our neighborhood deli 'Italo' is two minutes walk away and serves fresh Italian produce with a daily changing menu.

Sainsbury's and Waitrose supermarket located at the underground station (3 minutes walk)

The famous Bonnington Cafe is located just around the corner. The cafe is vegetarian and is run by the local community with a different chef each night.A delicious 3 course home cooked meal costs as little at £12. Bring your own wine, no corkage charge.

The local pub, The Black Dog serves great English food.

The Tea House Theater cafe is located close by and is great for tea and cake.

Visit the Garden Museum Cafe which was recently voted in the top ten best cafes in the world. It is a picturesque 15 minute walk from the apartment.

There are many restaurants and bars located on the Southbank which is a short walk away.
