About this property

'Largo Agrela House' - (See, River and Montain)

The village has 3 beaches. In the Centre the Afife Beach (family-beach lifeguard), North to "Praia da Ínsua" (wild Beach, with excellent water quality, due to the concentration of iodine) and to the South the "Arda" Beach (surf beach-lifeguard).
Is a house at the one of the most beautiful beaches in the north of portugal. Walking about 10 minutes through green fields and dunes you´l reach the beach. Some of the beaches are nearly desert. A very special thing in this house is that you can stay in the garden where children can play safely.
Availability of two bicycles for rides around the village.
The village is excellent for walking day and night.
Local eco-tourism, rural location also benefits from the village center 'Afife', permitting about 700mts, three cafes with outdoor terrace, a drugstore, an ATM, a supermarket and a casino party sites . Train station and bus stops a few meters away, which connects north and south along the coast and coast for a distance of 20minutes makes stop in city center 'Viana Do Castelo,' appearing soon on the main road, facilitating access the most important points, without your car for short or long stay. In winter the place is sought for rest, walks and ease of travel for visiting the most important points and to enjoy the summer sun and beach. '

The location is nice. That is the only positive. The premises is substandard, the electrics go off if you have the fire and kettle on at the same time, the bathroom is a shoebox with a sliding door, the shower ,and hot water, is a joke, and there is dog mess all over the "garden" and path where the washing line is and the first time we didn't manage to avoid all the deposits. It is not rustic, cute and charming, it is substandard.

Why they chose this property

Land of natural charms, minho is one of the oldest Portuguese natural regions. With the sea and the beaches of crystalline and pure water in front of him, and the hills and verdant valleys on his back, was this land that a large part of the Portuguese colonized Brazil from the 18th century.
In addition to the magnificent natural environment, the region combines the tradition of pilgrimages to excellence of odd cuisine, able to unseat a banquet in paris.
Visitors to the region can observe great part of its natural charms, its valuable cultural heritage, and revive ancient practices that still these days here and there are resisting dizzying change of time.
Portugal is characterized for being a country of mild climate and temperate Mediterranean oriented. being a small country portugal their regions are heterogeneous with regard to its climate. Still, because portugal is a country in southern Europe, days of Sun in all seasons. The beaches always highly sought after in late spring, during the summer and winter are also privileged destination for lovers of surfing.
