About Sylvia and Jean Marc

We are a young couple already into its mi-term life

Sylvia is a primary school teacher and I’m a shopkeeper

Between the 2 of us, we have 4 children: Gérald, Olivia, Étienne and Baptiste who really make us happy and this villa became our secondary residence.

We live a bit further, in the countryside, on the hills overlooking Cannes to Mouans-Sartoux and we often travel through the immense World in family or in couple.

We have been living in La Tsavorite during more than 20 years so we can testify that it is pleasant to live in no matter the season.

Today, what make us very proud are the commentaries of our nice guests that encourage us all the time to do our best to fully satisfy them and improved the way they are received.

Our guests from all over the world honour us with their presence at the villa “La Tsavorite in Provence”.

Why Sylvia and Jean Marc chose Centre-ville - Croisette

Villa La Tsavorite that you will soon discover is a family house bought on 24 February 1987, birthday of my eldest child, Gérald.

It is full of life and many good memories

Now it is available for seasonal renting to balance our budget but also to reinvest the profits to offer more pleasure to our guests.

This way of thinking allows us offer, no matter the season, very reasonable rental rates given the offered services that are below the market rates.

In 2012, the following enhancements have been made:

- 9x5 m architect pool that can be hated upon request during the mid-season. It is treated with salt (much less aggressive than chlorine) and has an ecological high performance heat pump.

- The Mediterranean landscaped garden has been redesigned and equipped with drip watering system.

- The 4 master bedrooms have been equipped before summer with reversible air-conditioning (cool air in summer and hot air in winter).

- New curtains and curtain-rods

- Modifications have been done to facilitate access to disabled persons: access ramp, medical bed and lift upon request.

For example, this summer we received a person with tetraplegia during 4 weeks

- Shutters have been sanded and restored

- New fittings and furniture including a very beautiful outdoor table with mosaic top

- New garden furniture (cosy Lafuma sunloungers) and pool accessories

- New crockery and dishes

Why this rental? Our guests will enjoy the same quality services (that always have been a pleasure to use) as us.

Once a year in autumn, we invite friends and guest friends for a long “brainstorming” weekend during which we try to find improvements for next summer.

What makes this villa unique

It is impossible to enumerate all the assets of our house because they are too numerous.

However, the first asset would be the space, comfort and quietness that offers this house located in a huge park planted with very old trees, beautiful Lebanon cedars, palm trees, cypresses, cactus and other species that are typical of the Mediterranean.

We can also talk about the brightness of this place, the large indoor spaces but also the typical quality of this house: the absolute quietness while being close to the town centre (less than 15 min on foot).

It is really a pleasant countryside house to live in. Maybe not luxurious (there are others in the region, on the hills and the hills of Cannes) but comfortable and with a good atmosphere.

After living together (with the house) for 25 years, the amazement remains intact, as if it was the first day, on the 6 July 1987 when we finally moved in.

Real efforts and modifications have been made to facilitate access to disabled persons. In summer, we received on 2 occasions, persons with important and very important handicaps.

Finally, we decided to rent it for a longer period (we escape a bit further, in the real countryside, on the hills of Cannes in Mouans-Sartoux).

It allows us to offer very advantageous rates all year long, below the market rates, which makes this house adorable and affordable.

Beautiful family house well maintained and tastefully decorated. The house has everything you could need whilst staying there and the kitchen is very well equipped including a large gas barbecue outside which was well used. The website pictures do not really do it justice, it was just perfect.
There were 8 of us in the party of mixed ages including my elderly parents who enjoyed the downstairs bedroom suite so they did not have to negotiate stairs. The property is ideally located with a 10 minute walk to the train station and La Croisette. Supermarket 5 minutes away on foot. We did not hire a car whilst there and walked or used the local taxi firms or trains. The house is within a gated private park and all of the properties are of a similar standing. It is a peaceful hideaway from the hustle and bustle of the main strip in Cannes.
Jean Marc and Sylvia were very helpful from our very first talks to our last day there, assisting us with everything from a taxi service to a emergency dentist appointment for my Father. We wouldn't hesitate to go back and stay in this beautful house again. Thank you Jean Marc and Sylvia

Je m'aperçois que nous avions jusqu'alors oublié d'exercer notre droit de réponse. Voilà, le mal est réparé.
Votre remarque est exacte précisant que la chambre matrimoniale du rez de jardin est plus propice à l'accueil de personnes d'âge mûr leur évitant ainsi de "négocier" l'escalier certes confortable mais peut être pour Certains un peu trop aérien.
Par ailleurs, sachez que cela a été un vrai plaisir de pouvoir Vous assister telle que nous l'avons fait. Au passage cela nous permet aussi d'améliorer notre niveau d'anglais toujours perfectible & puis c'est notre rôle aussi de pouvoir Vous guider si la demande de votre part est là et nous le faisons toujours avec le plus grand plaisir dans la mesure de nos possibilités respectives rapport à nos emplois du temps.
Alors.... si Vous avez été satisfaits, n'hésitez pas à en parler autour de Vous car cela reste pour nous la meilleure publicité et la plus efficace.

Beautiful, Large Villa, Close to La Croisette

Five of us stayed at 'La Tsavorite' for the week during MIPIM. The Villa is very well decorated throughout with large living areas and bedrooms. The walk to the Croisette was easy and on one straight road.

Jean-Marc and Silvia were very helpful throughout our stay, meeting us upon arrival and answering any questions. They were very hospitable.

The villa is in a very quiet location which was much needed during a busy week and was spotless on arrival.

According to us, we think it is nice to find a quiet place just after your hectic MIPIM days truly closed from downtown.

Every year, we accomodate more & more Congressists who want to sleep in natural surroundings but not far from downtown says in Cannes la Banane.

If You intend to come back again next year You will obviously be very welcome.

Lovely house near Cannes centre

We where a group of ten people traveling together, and we had a great time in Cannes and the villa. Jean-Marc and Sylvia was very friendly and helpful.

The villa is best described with the pictures in the ad, it looks very nice. The pool area has a large sitting group and we found room for everybody at the sunbeds poolside during daytime and around the dinner table at night. There is also a large barbeque outside, so you can enjoy cooking outside. In the back of the villa there is a tenant-flat also available for rent, if you need more space. There are also a parking area witch you can park several cars effortlessly. I would recommend this house for large families or groups traveling together, looking for something a bit more spacious than the hotels nearby.

Phantastischer Urlaub in Cannes

In der 2. Haelfte July 2013 haben wir die Villa fuer unsere Familie fuer 10 Tage gemietet. Zu unserer Familie gehoeren 2 Jungs im Alter von 14 und 16 Jahren. Die Buchungs- wie auch die Zahlungsmodalitaeten waren aeusserst unkompliziert. Das Haus, das wir angetroffen haben, war sauber und in tadellosem Zustand und entsprach den Bildern im Internet. Es ist in einem sehr schoenen und ruhigen Park gelegen. Man kann das Auto innerhalb des Grundstuecks parken. Wir haben uns in dem Haus total wohl gefuehlt und das vom ersten Tag an. Der Swimminpool war angesichts der sommerlichen Temperaturen ganz toll. Insbesondere unsere beiden Jungs haben stundenlang darin verbracht. Er wurde waehrend unserer Anwesenheit auch mehrmals gereinigt. Das Haus ist hell und sehr geraumig. Die Kueche ist toll eingerichtet und man braucht ausser Lebensmitteln nichts zu besorgen. Als wir angekommen sind, standen sogar 2 Flaschen Champagner kuehlgestellt fuer uns bereit (merci beaucoup). Die Vermieter, Sylvia und Jean-Marc, sind sehr herzliche Gastgeber, denen das Wohl der Mieter sehr am Herzen liegt. Sie waren auesserst hilfsbereit, unkompliziert und warmherzig. Cannes ist eine tolle Feriendestination. Einerseits sind da die schoenen Straende, von denen wir rege Gebrauch gemacht haben, andererseits liegt Cannes aber auch sehr gut, um Ausfluege in die naehere und weitere Umgebung zu machen. So haben wir viele schoene Doerfer besucht und das franzoesiche Leben geniessen koennen. Ein Ausflug nach Marseilles - Kulturhauptstadt Europas 2013 - war eines der Highlights. Nicht weit vom Haus entfernt hat es eine tolle Baeckerei, wo wir uns immer mit knusprigen Baguettes und Suessigkeiten versorgt haben. Leider sind die 10 Tage viel zu schnell vorbei gegangen. Wir haben aber immer noch tolle Erinnerungen an unsere Ferien in Cannes und sind uns sicher, bald wieder in das Haus zueruckzukehren. Wir koennen das Haus und die Gastfreundschaft von Sylvia und Jean-Marc jedermann waermstens empfehlen - sie werden es nicht bereuen.

We've spend a wonderful week in Cannes and enjoyed the house very much. It's spacious, beautiful and nicely decorated. The bedrooms en bathrooms were also very nice and have air-conditioning. We stayed at La Tsavorite with 12 girls and layed by the pool almost every day en the large terrace is convivial. Every day we made lunch and dinner and drank red wine all evening.

The house is in a beautiful surroundings, beautiful flowers and green tree's and it's very close to the centre of Cannes. It's a 15 minute walk to the beach and also the supermarket is a 5 minute drive. Every morning we walked down the street for fresh bread.

Jean-Marc and Sylvia were very kind and very helpful to us. Very lovely people! It's a fantastic house to stay with a group of friends or for instance with two family's with kids.
