Luxury apartment in South of France. Located on the glamorous Cote d'Azur, L'Horizons de Grand Duc is perfectly placed for views of the mountains, the La Napoule harbour & Cannes. A 15 minute drive from the centre of Cannes & 25 minute drive from Nice Airport - this new, modern apartment is part of a private development on the prestigious Domain du Grand Duc. Access is through lift and secure underground parking. The flat has internet access and a full alarm system. The apartment’s infinity pool has a huge sun terrace (safe for children) - perfect for sunbathing and enjoying the views. Two double bedrooms with extensive wardrobe space and two sleek bathrooms - both with access to the balcony. Fully equipped kitchen offers a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and electric hob - the breakfast bar and open plan lounge lead out to large, furnished balcony offering stunning views extending over the hills & sea and beautiful beaches nearby. There is charge of 160E for cleaning/linens

L'Horizons du Grand Duc....: The apartment is situated on a very prestigious Domaine du Grand Duc. This domaine is 75 acres of private villas and apartments - and the area is one of outstanding natural beauty. There is 24 hour security at the gate house to the Domaine. (A beeper, supplied on arrival, allows full access to the Domaine/garage/parking). The Domaine is home to several swimming pools, tennis courts and a gym - in addition to the communal apartment pool. Within minutes of the Domaine you will find the pretty town of La Napoule offering plenty of shops and boulangeries and Mandelieu, which has larger supermarkets like the Casino and the Geant.

Further along from the domaine and Mandelieu you will find wonderful beaches and small villages including: Theoule Sur Mer, Port De La Rague and Miramar.

We have also made a travel cot available for families with small children.

It should be noted that an early or late check in could mean a small additional charge.

Local activities....: In addition to the beautiful and relaxing infinity pool exclusive to the apartments at L'horizons du Grand Duc - there are other facilities available to residents and guests on the Domaine. The tennis, swimming, table tennis and gym offered at the Club house are on offer at a small extra charge. The Cote D'Azur is packed with wonderful places to visit and see. If you are looking for glamour, shopping, great food and people watching - Monaco, St Tropez or Cannes are your destinations. Other hip and trendy places to visit include Antibes & Juan Le Pins - both have great beaches & night life. For children all the local beaches at Theoule, Miramar & Port de la Rague are great. There is load for kids to keep them busy & great swimming, restaurants & water sports to keep parents happy too. There is a fab Marine land at Antibes - with water slides and swimming pools for all ages. The beautiful and ancient towns of Dragingan, Valbonne & Grimaud, St Max & St Tropez are all within a short drive

Eating out....: There is a restaurant for every taste and budget in this part of France. Particular favourites of ours are Le Magellan - a fab beach restaurant on the beach at Theoule. This place allows children and adults to have a great meal and evening. For more glamorous tastes please try the restaurant at the hotel 314 in Cannes. Great food and memorable evening spent on their terrace with really good service.

Other places worth considering are Marco Polo also at Theoule and several restaurants at La Napoule including the Michelin starred L'Oasis.

Peaceful, engaging view... just so relaxing.

Clean, tidy and a lovely place to spend time. Definitely recommend this apartment.

My wife and I wanted an escape for 10 days before winter set in! This choice was ideal, and we happily made this apartment our base for many day trips to local sights. Acess to a fabulous supermarket helps and the Casino didn't disappoint.

Must have a car though, access is great and means total freedom during any stay.

Amazing

A VERY nice apartment, fully equipped with anything you could think of. Situated in a very green and friendly area. The most wonderful, almost private, pool just a few steps away.

We were received by Amélie who cleans the apartment. She answered all of our questions and gave us the instructions we needed.

The balcony gives you a great view over the area and the sea, wonderful both by day and night.

You will need a car, since the apartment is located about 10 mins drive from the town centre, with lots of restaurants and shops.

A little further away you find the marina and the beach.

We will highly recommend this apartment for a summer vacation in the south of France, and would like to come back.

A beautiful and well-appointed apartment

This is a lovely apartment and the photos do it justice. It is very well appointed and comfortable although, being technically challenged, it took us a while to master all the equipment. The views are spectacular. Even though it was Christmas, we managed to breakfast on the balcony! Amelie and Yann were very helpful. It is well suited to summer living. Not a criticism of the apartment but we did feel a bit disconnected from French life.

Second Time Around!

Our second visit to this lovely apartment! The view is just fantastic, the apartment fantastic and the pool is one of the nicest (and biggest) we have ever had at an apartment stay! Pool is one minute from the apartment and also has changing and shower facilities.

Very clean and tidy on arrival (as last time) and everything in working order. The domain is very quiet, and also very private.

Overall a great place to stay. We will be back again Sarah!!

Amazing

I was very shocked to read the below review as my experience was very much the opposite.

The view from the balcony was absolutely beautiful.

The apartment itself was very spacious. I stayed there with 3 other friends and there was plenty of room. The kitchen is high class and well equipped.

Both bedrooms have high class bed linen with large cushions, just like in a hotel. Very cosy. Also very good mattresses.

The terrace was large enough for sunbathing and also comes with good quality tables and chairs so when we ate in there was enough room.

The owner was very nice and helpful, very trustworthy. She gave us tips where to go shopping for food and tips for the restaurants as well as general clothes shopping.

Our stay was really amazing; we appreciated the stunning view and quiet, high-class surroundings the most.

Great long weekend break

I have always stayed in nice when visiting the South of France so saw this apartment and thought it would be a lovely change...and it was. My friends and I made the most of the kitchen facilities and stunning views, enjoying dinner on the balcony at least 3 of the 5 nights we stayed. The rooms where all clean and the bathrooms had sufficient towels for us to use in the apartment and by the pool.

I would definitely return for a long weekend gateaway.

This South of France luxury flat has everything for a great holiday. With access to the glamorous hot spots of the French Riviera for dining, nightlife and shopping - Cannes, St Tropez, Juan Le Pins and Antibes are all within easy reach. The nearest beaches are beautiful & only 5-10 minutes drive - Theoule Sur Mer and Port de La Rague. Both beaches are perfect for water sports, swimming, beachside restaurants & volleyball. There is crystal clear water, great snorkelling & rock pools. Also close by is the medieval villages of Mougins and Valbonne renowned for their fab restaurants & art galleries - & Grasse, the village famous for its perfume and beautiful location. For golfers the nearest course is within minutes of the apartment -the Riviera Golf Club - it has courses for both professionals & beginners. The terrace/balcony has comfortable seating and dining facilities. Inside dining is available - in addition to the breakfast bar there are additional seating stored in one of the cupboards. A car is strongly recommended but for non drivers we can arrange Taxi/airport Collection service - subject to availability at booking. For a small daily fee guests are able to use the private health club on the domain which offers a lovely 25m pool, gym and tennis courts. Please note that some beach towels are provided. The apartment pool is an infinity pool in a perfect location for enjoying the views and peace of the domain. Sun loungers and showers are available at this pool for guests of the apartment.
