H. & co.
The apartment was very nice and clean. We really enjoyed staying there. The listing description was accurate. We were even able to use washing machine. The owner was very nice and helpful. There was a little local shop downstairs and we bought our food usually there. The village was quite small and I think we were almost the only tourists there, and we liked that! Almost every day we travelled by electric train, usually to Bergamo. We would recommend this apartment to anyone, who likes to stay in a small village. There was two adults with grandmother and three children on our trip and we all really liked the place.
This multi-level apartment has great security and a private patio. The owners were able to communicate in English and were wonderful to us! Our van was safe, and we could walk to restaurants etc.
The owners greeted us with parking help, wine, water and many suggestions of places to go while in their house. Our grand-children enjoyed the local park daily, and we biked or walked the trails in town with much pleasure. Bergamo is easy to reach by car or train. The ONLY negative was the daily morning clanging of the church bells, right next door, so we suggest ear plugs...or more vino:)
We really appreciate the owners, and they made the noisy bells worth while!
Thank you for a nice stay at your place. The appartment is nice and comfortable, the location is reali good fo the trips around the Lombardy, and realy close to Orio Serio Airpot.
In the same house is situated a small localshop with all necesary food, drinks and other articles. It is very covienient.
Dzi?kujemy i polecamy
The property is located in a peaceful village, 10 minutes away from the railwaystation, a little store downstairs with a very good service.
Facilities were very good for 4-6 persons, bathrooms very clean and roomy.
The owners were very kind. They gave us enough information and were ready to help us if needed. They offered us a meal too, when we arrived late in the evening.
In the village there were a few restaurants, but we didn´t visit them. We travelled to Bergamo by train (25 min). One day we travelled to Lecco by train from Bergamo and again to Bellagio by bus to see Como Lake. By train we also travelled to Venice. So you can manage without a car, trains and buses are available and quite cheap.
We will recommend this property to our friends!
We have just spent 3 nights at Casa San Cristoforo and can safely say it felt like 'home from home'. The owners Bianca and Adriano provided excellent customer service, including information on local shops, restaurants and services. The property was very clean, well maintained and comfortable with excellent facilities. As it is on a split-level it may be less suited to families with small children or for someone with limited mobility. Pradalunga is a lovely quiet village but a car is essential to get around.. A trip to Bergamo is recommended. I As we arrived on a Sunday, the local shops were closed. It would have been nice to have had a 'welcome pack' of a few basic food supplies such as bread, milk, tea/coffee, to tide us over. Otherwise I cannot recommend this property highly enough.
The house was modern, lovely, clean and well heated. The photos on the web site don't do the house justice, it really a very lovely house. I was happy dealing with the onwer she provided usefull information regarding restaurants and other things. you have your own parking place just outside your front door. small supermarket on hand, and a local bar just a few mins down the hill. We didn't spent much time in the town where the house is situated, we spend more time in bergamo and milan. I would recommend a car to get around, buses and trains seems to work well, a car is just so much easier...
Casa Vacanze (Holiday Home) San Cristoforo is in Valle Seriana not far from Orio al Serio Airport and not far from Bergamo, 50km far from Milan.
Valle Seriana is very nice. You can ski in winter and do trekking in summer, or visit many lovable places like San Pellegrino (mineral water), Bergamo (medio-eval town), Monza (Formula 1 circuit), Milano (fashion shop and Leonardo's last supper), Iseo lake (Montisola), Como lake, Garda lake, Verona (Romeo and Juliet, Arena), Gardaland, magical Venice and so on!
Other Activities: museum , good food and so on
