Beautifully furnished apartments

Coralita is a spectacular ocean front property located on the beautiful west coast of the island at Prospect, St James, just south of Sandy Lane, and close to the soon to be Four Seasons Resort on Paradise Beach.

This fantastic property sits on a small cliff. It is built on three

levels; each level is a separate apartment with its own entrance.

The first two levels offering 2, 2 bed roomed apartments and the bottom offering a 1 bedroom.

Each apartment is furnished to the highest specification and has its own private balcony offering stunning views of the ocean where you can watch turtles swim by. Outside there is a decked

area with sun loungers, perfect for sunbathing. Private steps lead down to the beautiful clear waters of

the Caribbean. This truly is an ocean front property.

This is a no smoking property and there is a housekeeper 5 days a week.

Apartment 2 is accessed from street level then down some steps. There are 2 bedrooms both with air con and ceiling fans. The beautiful master bedroom has the most incredible views out to sea which can be seen whilst lying in bed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The second bedroom has 2 single beds, both rooms have plenty of storage, and open out onto the main living area. The superb open plan living area is beautifully furnished with colonial style furniture. The kitchen area is very well equipped with all the latest appliances. The dinning area is on the covered balcony which has the most spectacular views of the beach and sea. The beach is approached by the side of the property and then down a private staircase. There is also a decked area with sun beds and a BBQ. There is also a housekeeper 5 days a week.

A wonderful holiday

My sister and I stayed here recently for two weeks and weren't disappointed. The description was accurate (which in most cases, isn't).

Sandra the maid was delightful. Not only did she keep the apartment like a new pin, she was friendly and so helpful. Sandra gave us extra information which really made the holiday. We both shall return before the year end is out!

Gorgeous view from the perfect vacation villa

We returned from a glorious week in Coralita apartment #2. First let me say that the architecture of the place is perfect for tropical living: white plaster, smooth rounded walls and ceilings, large mahogany cased windows and doors, and restful, neutral floor tile throughout. There is a nod toward Morroccan style with delightful insets placed strategically in the walls that have lighting above to unobtrusively light an area with a soft glow rather than harsh brightness; and each has a lovely piece of the sea (coral or shells) to acknowledge its geography. Perched on a rocky cliff, the scenery is spectacular; the siting of the building inspired, and the landscaping adds to its beauty without overwhelming of the view (2 large palm trees lend tropical ambience).

The bathrooms have natural stone counters with vessel sinks, and the kitchen is equipped with everything you need to truly feel like you are in an apartment. I especially appreciated the utility of every item; nothing more or less than is needed. Often when renting a home or villa, you arrive to find leftover hand-me-down furniture, mismatched dinnerware and silverware and junky décor. You can tell that the owners take pride in making it easy and aesthetically pleasing to live there. A bonus is the dishwasher, which we used quite often. Large flat screen TV (although we hardly used it) is hooked up to many channel options, and wifi was efficient and allowed us to stay in contact without costly international data fees.

It should be noted that the steps to apartment 2 are actually a spiral staircase, which is a little dicey to navigate for 2 broads with bad hips haha, but leads to a breathtaking level that has one of the best views I have ever experienced. My friend and I were celebrating our 60th birthdays (we came to Batts Rock for our 40th birthday as well, at The Belfry), and felt we found the perfect place to share: each had our own bedroom and bathroom, and we spent hours on the cozy dining terrace playing Scrabble and watching the waves crash upon the shoreline.

Although there are air conditioners, we did not use them once, preferring to cast open wide the windows and doors and let the island breeze create our temperatures. There is a nice cross breeze when you open the window from kitchen to dining terrace, although, like most of the coastal properties on Barbados, the back of the house is right on a busy street and traffic noise blends with crashing wave sounds; you get used to it.

Stunning views, great place to relax

The accommodation was great. Everything needed to self cater. Most stunning views of sea and local beach from private balcony and master bedroom. Able to swim directly from steps at bottom of apartments into the clear blue warm sea. Good for snorkelling, even seeing turtle.The apartment is in a good location, with bus stop straight outside. Must also mention maid Sandra as well who kept our apartment clean and she was helpful with local information. Would certainly go back and would recommend this place. Having travelled around the island this is a real find if you want a place to retreat but within 10 minutes from Holetown and night life.

A wonderful place to relax

We spent a fantastic week relaxing and enjoying every moment of our holiday in a stunning apartment in an amazing location.

The views from the apartment are breath taking and the perfect peaceful beach just outside the back door doesn't make leaving to explore the rest of the island easy.

The apartments are finished to an extremely high standard and the friendly house keeper, Sandra keeps everything spotless.

Sandra has amazing local knowledge so if you can pull yourself away from the beach she will tell you the best places to visit, eat, drink and explore.

This place really is everything promised in the description and more.

We are already planning our next visit!

Coralita has direct and private access to one of the longest and least busy beaches in the area, considered by the locals as probably one of the best on the island. However the size of the beach can not be guaranteed and it may disappear totally during the winter months. All Types of water sports can be brought directly to your door.

For golf enthusiasts the famous Sandy Lane and Westmoorland are only a 10 min drive away and tennis is available at Suga Suga spa and resort. The nearest Diving centre is a 5min drive north and horse racing, polo and the new Kensington Oval cricket ground are all within a 10 min drive.

Choosing where to eat is never easy especially when surrounded by what are considered to be some of the best restaurants in the world including the Cliff, only 5 mins by car. Some are in walking distance.
