Nestled on the north end of Harbor Island, South Carolina on a sleepy beach where gentle waves crawl upon the shore. There is a reason we are Harbor Island's most rented beachfront home. VIEWS VIEWS VIEWS!!! No home on the island comes close to offering you the breathtaking views seen from our home. Relax on the front porch and admire the surreal low country marshlands. Take in the awe inspiring St Helena Sound and Atlantic Ocean from the back porch. Soak in the picturesque vista of Harbor River from the north end of the house. Watch breathtaking sunsets from your balcony that can only be described as surreal. Folks arrive an hour early to get a spot on the beach just to watch it set but you have a front row seat from your porch! Every room offers unparalleled views. Seriously, pick a room and smile :). The beach at our house is sparse, quiet and calm. RELAX RELAX RELAX. It feels as though you are on your own private island. The home has it's very own boardwalk to the beach. Walk right out the back door to paradise. The house has 4 Bedrooms, 3 1/2 Bath plus outside heated shower for rinsing off the salt and sand, Sleeps 12, Downstairs Master (Beachwalk) on suite with King and views of the beach and entrance to screened in porch. Upstairs Master (Ocean View) on suite with King and private balcony with breathtaking views of the sound, ocean and Harbor River. Queen Bedroom (Sunset) with double bunk beds with amazing views of the Harbor Bridge. Another Queen Bedroom (Harbor Marsh) with double bunk beds with stunning views of the marshlands. Open floor concept with Kitchen (Stainless Steel Appliances), Dining Room and Living Room all with gorgeous views. Washer/Dryer, Four car garage, GOLF CART included FREE! A vehicle pass to SC State Parks (including Hunting Island) is also included!! Screened in porch with breakfast table. Eat your pancakes and watch the dolphins chase the shrimp boats as they glide by. Take your private boardwalk to beach and play, fish, kayak, bicycle or just relax. Peaceful, beautiful coastal retreat

If dolphins and turtles are happy here, you just know it’s right. Your first glimpse, as you cross the bridge from St Helena Island, is of a pristine lowland wilderness dotted with elegant homes - and Hampton House sits in the landscape like it was meant to be there. The house is well-designed, comfortable and very well equipped for long days on the beach and those rare family evenings that modern life so often overlooks. Here is a place to breathe, laugh, love and just soak it all up. There is a lot to do and see within a short drive. Beaufort is the archetypal charming Southern town, worth close inspection. The coastal island life is relaxed, with gorgeous scenery and amazing natural produce around every corner. Buy shrimp nearby (or flounder!) and get that barbecue fired up. Or eat out at any number of great places - we’d recommended the Dockside restaurant on Lady’s Island, or for a treat try Saltus River Grill in Beaufort. Or just take a snack down the boardwalk to the beach at sunset and watch locals catch shark at the water’s edge as the last shrimp boats return, followed by a cloud of seagulls and a tail of dolphins. Here is a place so clean that turtles nest less than 100 yards from where you sleep. If you are extremely lucky you may see one, but probably not! We came to South Carolina from the UK. It was a big family adventure made all the more wonderful by this remarkable house. The world is a big place and we feel lucky to have found Harbor Island. It’s one of those places you want to keep to yourself! If you are reading this wondering is you should go, stop looking, book immediately and start planning one of the best holidays of your life.

Beautiful spot!

Booked this with a group of friends for a weekend getaway. We saw the shrimp boats trolling around from the kitchen table views and watched beautiful sunsets from the great screened in porch. The home is as described with plenty of room. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals and golf cart to drive down to the pickle ball courts. Derrick was responsive and accommodating and would book again.

My Wife and I (Derrick and Roxanne) along with my brother and his wife (Travis and Sage) decided to embark on an adventure and build our oceanfront dream house. It was completed in 2014 in the beautiful low country of South Carolina on Harbor Island. We purposefully built our home with guest's creature comforts in mind. We wanted it to feel like you are sitting at home on your comfortable sofa while you're watching the waves crawl upon the shore outside your back porch. We built our home and had a very successful and fun 2 1/2 years and then along came Hurricane a Matthew. Our home was built so well it survived but we needed to rebuild much of it. Also, after the storm we had lost our dunes and needed to find a new lot on the island. We were blessed to be able to move our home to the best lot on the island. Built back to brand new and relocated. We are now at the sparsely populated north end of the island with views to die for. I am truly awestruck every time I walk into our home. Breathtaking vistas is not a strong enough statement to describe the beauty surrounding it. We love to spend as much time as we can there (living in Georgia we are only a short drive away) and we know you will love it too. We try to make sure that when you step into our house, you feel like you are home. We respond quickly to any issue you may have and we live by the motto 'do the right thing all the time.' Welcome to our home , the Hampton's.

Building this home has been a dream of my family and my brother's family. Completed in 2014, it is built with the strictest of codes, designed to handle mother nature and keep you comfortable. My brother and I have always loved South Carolina. Being from Georgia, we would take trips annually to our neighboring state and enjoy her beauty and hospitality, food and golf. The north view gives you the scenic Harbor river bridge and world class sunsets. Absolutely amazing! Beaufort, only a few miles down the road, is the second oldest city in South Carolina and is the very embodiment of a 'Low Country' coastal town. It is so beautiful, many movies were filmed here including 'Forest Gump’, ‘The Prince of Tides' and 'The Big Chill'. If you love golf as much as we do, you will love the many golf course within a few minutes drive. Our house was built to allow not only us to enjoy all the low country has to offer, but you as well.
