Quiet & Convenient

Great communication from Xavier and a friendly welcome from the hostess. Convenient location with easy bus and metro options for getting around the city. The flat has everything needed for a winter city break, and was warm and comfortable.

Great escape!

We had 4 lovely nights in Barcelona and the apartment in Gracia served us well. It was a very comfortable, clean and modern apartment and well equipped, much better and more reasonable than squeezing into a hotel room. Maria met us and was very helpful. Do make use of the buses to Pl Catalunya and the Tourist Bus (from Traverse de Dalt) as it's a lot closer than the Joanic metro stop (though that's v handy too). We found a good local restaurant, Soco, that opens earlier than most others, which was a good find for our last night. Thank you.

"My wife and I were extre...

"My wife and I were extremely pleased with the appartment. It fully conforms with the advertisement, is well-designed and was in excellent order. Appliances/equipment were entirely adequate, up to date and in working order. The owner was most solicitous for our welfare and volunteered useful advice. The appartment is near local shops and between 2 convenient metros: we walked down the hill to Joanic to travel into the centre and returned to Alfonso X, which is at the same height. Parc Guell is within walking distance (uphill). We ate in several good restaurants in the local area of Gracia, and bought books from the secondhand English bookshop. The area feels safe to walk around in, is pleasantly quiet and non-touristy."

A Sweet Retreat

What a warm and cozy apartment. We felt safe and relaxed. The bed was so comfortable. Even though someone went over how to use the appliances with us, we wish we had written instructions that were lamented that we could look at. We were very tired after our flight and really needed the instructions to be written down so we could have looked at them later when we wanted to use the oven. Thank you for having such a clean apartment for us to use. It was a lovely sweet retreat.
