About Jan Metselaar
I was born in Oslo in 1949 and grew up seeing much of the world thanks to my father's job as a Dutch diplomat. My passion was chemical engineering (Delft 1974) after which I joined Procter & Gamble in Brussels for a 33 year career. After retirement (2009) I have found many worthwhile causes as a volunteer, the most important being coaching of delinquent youngsters. My wife and I have 4 lovely children who have blessed us with 5 grandchildren so far. I have many hobbies, including cooking and gardening and I love playing bridge (since I was kid).
Jan Metselaar purchased this apartment in 2009
Why Jan Metselaar chose Budapest
It is modern, very well equipped and located smack in the middle of the city on the Pest side. It is ideal for all excursions on foot and if you get tired you can make use of the excellent public transport system close by. The closest station of metro line 1 is just a two minutes walk from the apartment
What makes this apartment unique
The great roof terrace of 80 square meters which is completely private and accessible via a fixed staircase in the apartment.
Both the livingroom and the bedroom have separate airco which you will love during the summer season when Budapest can get very hot! Due to its location away from the street the bedroom is very quiet.
