dont have any worries....just do it!

a home from home in a beautiful quite location.
the host was terrific.
I would not hesitate to recommend this to a couple looking for a peaceful retreat.
if you get to know the local public transport you can venture far and wide at little expense. we had breakfast in france dinner in Italy and supper in Monaco....stress free.
don't bring much luggage. theres 50 steps to the train station! 10/10

A Room with a (Beautiful) View

We stayed in the studio apartment in August 2014. It is in a lovely big old pink house situated right next to the Mediterranean.The studio is compact but very well designed and organised. Everything was very clean and convenient, but what made it so special was the generous balcony with an absolutely wonderful view. We spent quite a bit of our time sitting out on that balcony! Another important element of the studio was the excellent sofabed which unfolded really easily into a good-sized and surprisingly comfortable double bed.So we slept very well with the sound of the sea in the background.

The garden leads down to the lovely coastal path along which we walked to Monaco to the East (about 30 minutes) and Mala beach to the West (about 15 minutes).

There is a very good restaurant, about 100 metres from the apartment, where we ate dinner on two evenings. The walk up to the shops in the centre of the town takes about 15 minutes and although it is quite a steep incline it gives a splendid panoramic view over the coast and the sea.The walk down is much easier! There are one or two friendly good value restaurants there as well as a local boulangerie, a fruit and vegetable merchant, cafes, tabac and a small supermarket.

We travelled to Cap-d'Ail by train and we did not have the car for the week, but this was not a problem at all. If you want to go further afield you can travel to Nice or other nearby coastal resorts very easily by train. The station is only a 5 minute walk from the apartment.

Ornella was extremely helpful through her email communications and Nadine, who showed us around when we arrived, made sure that we had all the information we needed.

Our time in Cap-dAil was blessed with glorious weather and we can thoroughly recommend this small but delightfully -situated apartment. A place to return to!

Beauty and Serenity with Sea View!

My husband and I stayed at Ornella's studio for one week at the end of July and Ornella's flat was absolutely spectacular! The view from the balcony looks like a postcard, and the use of space in the extremely clean (and cool apartment with great AC) was carefully considered; for a studio, the flat feels much larger than it actually is due to an wonderful array closet space. The kitchen and bathroom are actually quite big by European standards, and again, the use of cabinet space is incredible. The whole apartment is superbly equipped with everything one might need down to extra outlet adapters for various countries. We were never in need of anything! Ornella is lovely, always responded to my communication promptly, and was even kind enough to leave us a wonderful bottle of wine. Nadine, the caretaker of the flat, was flexible and met us outside of the normal arrival hours and was very kind and helpful, as well. In addition, the flat was perfectly clean when we arrived. You cannot beat the view of the stunning Cote d'Azur from the large balcony. The proximity to Monaco, the small village of Cap d'Ail, and the larger city of Nice makes it very convenient yet still remote enough and private to feel as though you are in a non-touristy destination. My husband and I would definitely recommend this flat, and have already made an inquiry for the whole month of December for the holidays. Thank you Ornella!! All the best, Danielle and Yan

Perfect studio apartment with an unbelievable view

This apartment was absolutely perfect! The apartment itself is very nice and the sofa bed is actually extremely comfortable. The location is incredible! We breakfast every morning on the balcony overlooking the Mediterranean and St. Jean Cap Ferat, and always enjoyed a glass of wine in the evening watching the yachts, fireworks, and lights along the cote d'azure. Ornella was extremely gracious and accommodating and everything was very easy and in perfect order. The apartment was a very quick walk to the train station, which made traveling between towns very convenient, but we could not hear the trains, which was great. We could however hear the waves from the ocean!! So lovely to fall asleep to. In all, we couldn't believe our luck at finding this apartment. It was perfect. Thank you for a lovely trip!
