One bedroom apartment with a second downstairs bedroom available on request

With a superb seaside location just off the Ring of Kerry road, Westcove Farmhouse Apartment is ideally suited for a couple or two persons sharing. On the first floor of a new wing adjoining the owner's old stone farmhouse and small bakery, it has its own private entrance, walled courtyard and parking area and is beautifully furnished and finished throughout First class accommodation includes large double or twin room overlooking Westcove Harbour and Kenmare Bay. Bathroom with corner bath and separate power shower, kitchen and dining room, private courtyard garden and parking.

A second ensuite double bedroom downstairs with its own entrance is available for same group only.

An added attraction on the premises is the owner's small artisan bakery and confectionery, as well as a small shop selling the full bakery range, plus unusual gifts and local crafts. More details can be found on our website.

Situated between Caherdaniel and Castlecove, the tranquil setting offers guests the perfect place to relax or from which to explore this most beautiful and interesting part of Ireland. For walkers, the Kerry Way and magnificent beaches are minutes away. Those interested in fishing are spoilt for choice with both freshwater lake and sea fishing available. An excellent water sports centre is located in Derrynane 10 minutes away and for those who fancy a hack on the beach there is an equestrian centre in Caherdaniel. Excellent golf courses are nearby in either direction. Nature lovers will delight in the abundant bird life at Westcove, the colony of seals in the harbour, nature walks in Derrynane. Day excursions can be made to Killarney National Park, the scenic Ring of Kerry, the Skellig Islands, Valentia Island, the Iveragh and Dingle Peninsulas.

Westcove apartment is on the first floor of a newly whitewashed wing, accessed by steps from the guest private walled garden, full of flowering shrubs and herbs.

We arrived to a warm wlecome from Jane and a cosy apartment with amazing views from every window. The weather was glorious and on our first evening we sat out in our little scented garden,lit with fairy lights and stars and enjoyed an al fresco dinner and champagne. We hadnt realized just how stunning the surrounding scenery is and enjoyed the beaches and mountain hikes. We steadily worked our way through all Janes baking - delicious brown bread, chocolate cake and almond croissants to die for! We loved our week and hope to go back. Thank you Jane
