Home Away from Home in Paris

This apartment made a wonderful base for our 9 day stay in Paris. It is in a great location, close to the Arc de Triomphe but very much a local neighborhood. Cafes and stores are full of friendly locals. It is just a short walk to the Charles de Gaulle Etoile stop. Be prepared with a French phrase book at nearby restaurants and shops. The apartment was very spacious for our family of four. Bedrooms were a good size as was the bathroom with washing machine. Windows line the living room wall and let in lots of light. We even watched the New Year's Eve fireworks from those windows! Francois was a very warm and sweet host. He brought along Stephane to our check in, and Stephane helped us communicate clearly when questions came up later. We were so comfortable - it was really like a home away from home. We would love to come back again.

Spacious, well-located, charming apt run by gracious host

We highly recommend this apartment close to the metro, taxi stop, and buses, with a side view of the Arc de Triomphe. Beautiful light in the spacious living room, tub and shower, and attentive, very pleasant owner.

Superb location

Excellent location. Many restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Short walk to Poncet market street. Lovely apartment with Arc de Triomphe view. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Property and Location

The property was exactly as advertised. The location was fantastic, we could see the Arc from the window. Wonderfull bright and airy with beautiful afternoon sun streaming in to a big airy high ceiling living room. The bedrooms were silent and away from the road so we could all sleep peacefully. Having bathroom and a separate half bath made the mornings much easier with 2 adults and 2 kids getting up. Everything was very clean. There was a lovely little market with lots of fresh and gourmet food stalls just a 5 minute walk away. Coffee and pastries every morning. Francois the host was very friendly and very communicative before and during our stay if we had questions. He brought his niece who spoke english with him on first day to make sure we could understand everything. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your apartment Francois! It made a wonderful trip to Paris even better than I could have imagined.
