The perfect winter getaway

I stayed at Luis' idyllic apartment for two weeks and loved it. The apartment is on the basic side but very clean and has everything you need inc wifi. Exactly what I was looking for. It has private access onto a quiet little beach surrounded by only a handful of other houses and a great beach cafe. Compared to other towns and villages on the north coast I felt this was the the nicest one we saw, everyone was very friendly, it's very quiet and clean. It is also in a great location for all the surfing beaches and hot springs. Luis himself was extremely welcoming picking us up from the airport and showing us the route to the house which could be tricky in the dark. He also sorted a problem with the toilet within hours which I was very impressed by. The only downside was a noisy neighbour who was doing building work everyday, all day to his house. He turned out to be very nice, just unfortunate timing. I'm already planning to come back and stay at the house, thanks Luis! Will

Beautiful home idyllic setting

Comfortable and spotlessly clean this home is well equipped and on a most amazing beach. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend to everybody. We only booked 4 nights arriving and leaving by taxi however if staying longer we I suggest hiring a car from the airport There is no washing machine but a washing line on the terrace was useful. Thank you Luis for all your help- obrigado!

Position and view is excellent

Position and view is excellent. Communication was a little confusing since 4 different people from the house were involved. When it was finally clear who was doing the check-in, the check-in itself was really good, since the keys were delivered to us to the airport after our arrival, so we don't had to drive to the house immediately after our arrival.
