Less than 2 km from the historic capital of Beaujolais (Beaujeu), the Vavril Estate stretches over 20 hectares of hills. Surrounded by vineyards, the estate has a spectacular view of the small valley. The Vavril Estate is especially well located, as it is just 17 km from the A6 highway (Belleville exit), 40 km from the TGV Macon-Loche station, 80 km from the Lyon-Saint Exupéry airport and 60 km from the centre of Lyon.

South of Burgundy and north-west of Lyon, Beaujolais is located in a valley with rolling hills originally created by a volcano. There are many activities nearby: equestrian centre (less than 5 minutes away), amusement park, quad bike rental, bike rental, tennis, wine route, hikes, museums, and gourmet restaurants.
