Designer furnished, tasteful and luxurious penthouse apartment set in colourful landscaped gardens with a large community pool in a quiet residential neighbourhood only 30 minutes by car from Malaga airport. Adjoining a conservation area of dunes, eucalyptus trees and pine woods bordering a long beach which is less than 5 minute walk over the unspoilt dune-land, filled with wild flowers in the spring. This property is a perfect romantic hideaway and a haven for peaceful relaxation with sea and mountain views.

The penthouse apartment is furnished to a high standard with marble floors throughout. Because of its proximity to the beach, there is often a pleasant breeze providing a light and airy feel. Air conditioning is provided with in-built heating for any cooler evenings out of season. There are two tranquil and private roof terraces enjoying excellent views and decked with pots full of colourful plants and climbers. The large terrace is totally private and with sun loungers is ideal for relaxing and sun bathing in total seclusion with the sound of birdsong from the adjoining eucalyptus trees. It is perfect for alfresco eating, barbequing and dining by candlelight under the stars. The smaller terrace off the main bedroom is perfectly positioned for sipping champagne whilst watching the sunset over the distant mountains.

Within walking distance in both directions there are a number of beach bars and restaurants. In one direction is the beach and pretty port of Cabopino with several restaurants and bars including Andy’s Bar. Nearby are other facilities including supermarkets, chemist, banks/ ATM and hotels….the famous Don Carlos is 5 minutes away by car. Marbella is a short drive away and there are many golf courses nearby and numerous other leisure activities. The property is a good touring base to explore this interesting and historic part of Spain (Malaga, Seville, Granada etc.) or for trips to the mountains, Gibraltar and North Africa.

More about the apartment: The apartment bedrooms are furnished with a double and twin beds with Memory Foam mattresses. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with over bath shower and the twin room is serviced by a shower room. All bed linen and bathroom towels are included; you will only need beach towels.

The living room area is spacious and comfortably furnished and incorporates a dining area….rarely used as life is lived out on the lovely terraces! There is TV, DVD/CD player and Wi-Fi and some books.

The kitchen is well equipped and includes oven, hob and microwave although the barbeque probably gets more use than the oven! There is a good size fridge and freezer so no need to be constantly shopping. To minimise packing there is a washing machine, clothes airer and lines (everything dries quickly on the terrace), iron and board.

There is a toy box on the terrace which is a children’s treasure trove of all sorts of things left by other little visitors!

Further location details: A very large choice of restaurants lie within driving distance as do the fashionable shops and malls of Marbella, some 15 minutes by car. For those seeking night life, plenty is available within Marbella and its surroundings. There are numerous golf courses in the area making this a golfers paradise and good skiing exists (in season) in the Sierra Nevada mountains near Granada, within 2 hours drive away. Gibraltar is easily accessible.

Transport etc.: It is advisable to hire a car if you wish to visit other areas.

The terraces are private and the spacious main terrace is perfect for quiet sunbathing and eating in the shade. The views are wonderful - trees, duneland, sea, distant mountains and sometimes the coast of Africa.

What makes this apartment unique

The privacy of the property is very important to me as well as the pleasure of being up amongst the trees with all sorts of birds and yet close to the beach and restaurants.

Short Break

Lovely Penthouse apartment on the 2nd floor of this block, situated in a quiet area, and with a wonderful private roof terrace where you can catch the sun's rays all day long. The apartment had everything we needed for our chill and relax short break, and we would have loved to stay longer than 4 nights, but work got in the way! Lorraine the house manager was there to greet us on arrival, and the welcome pack was greatly appreciated. The El Cortiga bar a few hundred yards up the road was good fun, nice atmosphere and very welcoming. We had an excellent meal at Albert's Restaurant and enjoyed the beach Tapas Bar in nearby Cabapino Marina (20 minute walk). The "Village Inn" a couple of hundred yards past the El Cortiga bar also served some good Tapas and was very friendly. All-in-all this was a very pleasant break and we would not hesitate to recommend the accommodation and the local area. Thank you

Amazing stay in a perfect apartment!

This apartment certainly lived up to (and exceeded) expectations! It is a beautiful apartment, very clean and wonderfully set out. The welcome basket was a very nice touch and meant we could sit down with a drink and some food as soon as we arrived.

The location is great - just a few minutes walk from the beach, which was perfect for a stroll at sunset, and with a lot of bars/restaurants/shops/things to do nearby. We hired a car for our stay which meant we could explore the area and see all the sights (getting up into the mountains was particularly stunning). There are plenty of recommendations in the welcome pack at the apartment and you are encouraged to write your own. There are also a few guidebooks for the area which proved really useful in planning our stay.

However on the days which we didn't go exploring, the apartment was a great place to relax in. The patio is just beautiful and perfect for having some food and drinks or sunbathing. The patio has a BBQ which meant we could pick up some delicious seafood at the supermarket and put our culinary skills to work! The pool area is great, the pool is nice and big (and very well maintained) and there is a lot of space for sunbathing around it.

We spent most evenings having a drink on the patio or went down to a local bar or restaurant. There is also a tv at the apartment with a big selection of films available which was great for evenings in.

Overall, a perfect stay - we will definitely be going back!

We really enjoyed our first experience in the Costa del Sol. The location & standard of the apartment meant we were very cosy, comfortable and happy during our extended stay.

The location was quiet, the surrounding gardens well kept and the view from the terrace just lovely. John & Denise were very helpful, easy to contact and ensured that we had all we needed. The facilities, equipment and style of the accommodation are all of a high standard. We would recommend the apartment for active couples & young families, the terrace is quite safe as the wall is high enough to protect little ones.

The beach is just a five minute walk, there are several supermarkets nearby and access to the main A7 is easy.

We would certainly use this apartment again when we next visit Spain.

Good apartment, great stay.

The apartment was as described; spotless, well-equipped with everything you needed. The little extras were most appreciated and the welcome pack was ideal after a long journey. The weather was glorious for December and it was nice to sit on the balcony, listen to the sea and enjoy a 'night-cap'.

The agent Lorraine was a 'real gem' and a true professional.

We would have no hesitation in recommending this property to friends or family.

Spacious, well equipped and with a great terrace

This is a spacious apartment for a family, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a good kitchen and spacious lounge diner. The main bedroom ensuite has a very nice terrace looking over the very pretty communal pool area. Pool & pool area is large and beautifully kept. The real wow factor though is the main terrace, which is huge with a covered dining area and loads of room for 4 sunbeds, south facing getting the sun all day. The terrace is penthouse and therefore very private not overlooked. There are views to the sea in the distance. There are a few restaurants around in the area including the German bar/restaurant which can be walked to which is very nice. A short 5 minute ride in the car takes you a very wide range of bars / restaurants in Elvira and the beautiful harbour at Puerto Cabopino.

A stunning apartment in a lovely location…

A stunning apartment in a lovely location……perfect romantic hideaway! Spacious, very clean, well equipped and tastefully furnished but the real bonus is not one but two lovely terraces. We spent most of our time on the large terrace which was perfect for sunbathing during the day and cooking (great b-b-q) and eating in the evening by candlelight. Being the penthouse the terrace is very private with views into the trees, over to the beach and up to the mountains. Furnished well (even a toy box for the young guests) and lots of pots of gorgeous plants which were a pleasure to look after. The small terrace leading from the bedroom is perfectly located to watch the sun going down with something chilled! The grounds and pool are very well maintained and whenever I used the pool it was never crowded or noisy…..often had it to myself!

There are plenty of places to eat and drink in the surrounding area and a visit to Malaga shouldn’t be missed for some ‘retail therapy’ followed by interesting tapas and wine and an evening walk through the lively cosmopolitan streets.
