Near Walt Disney World, Sea World and other theme parks, near golf resorts

This 2-storied villa, which sits on one of the largest lots of the community, underwent a total make over. It has totally been refurbished into a beautiful furnished high quality home. The upstairs has just recently (December 2011) been painted giving it a whole new look. You can sit and relax on the leather couch while enjoying a movie on the 32 inch TV or surf the WIFI high-speed internet which is available.

When all this is not enough, out in the back your own private (heated) screened-pool is waiting for you. The modern kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook, stove, microwave, oven, fridge, dishwasher and all utensils you may expect, attached is a separate utility room with washer and dryer. Upstairs you will find 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms: A kingsize en-suite master bedroom and a queen-size en-suite master bedroom both that have a 26'LCD TV. The family sized bathroom will be shared by two twin bedrooms, both with two twin beds each. Outside there is ample parking.

For the kids:: When you bring children there is a WII available as well as a Multi-Game with 14 different games to play i.e., Billiard, Foosball, Basketball, Glide Hockey, Table Tennis etc on the table sized game table (Lenght: 48', Width: 25', Lenght: 32').

Safety issues: All rooms are provided with smoke-alarm detectors. The sliding-door has a safety lock, out of reach for small children. The pool is provided with a safety-fence. 2 Fire-extinguishers (up- and downstairs). 2 Phones (up- and downstairs).

Legoland Florida: Opening in Fall 2011 -- LEGOLAND FLORIDA --

Legoland is located in Polk County, just 30 minutes south of the Orlando theme parks and only 25miles from our Villa.

At Florida's newest family theme park everyone is a hero. With more than 50 rides, shows and attractions, LEGOLAND Florida is an entire day of family fun.

About Bram and Sylvia van der Laan

We are Bram and Sylvia van der Laan, having a daughter named Camy. We hail from The Netherlands where we work in the airline- and insurance business. While not enjoying our Villa ourselves we rent it out and have somebody else have a wonderful time to enjoy our beautiful villa.

Why Bram and Sylvia van der Laan chose Sandy Ridge

We purchased this villa in the summer of 2008 and totally refurbished it. We were looking for something near the Disney-area and this was exactly what we were looking for. Having lived here we exactly knew what we were looking for and in which area. Having all the attractions in the nearby area, Disney is only 10 minutes away, as well as many well-known golfcourses is what we wanted.

What makes this villa unique

Only 10 minutes from all the amusement parks, Walt Disney World, Sea World, University and newly opened Legland is indescribable. Yet home and enjoying the pool within the picturesque and exclusive community of Sandy Ridge is so wonderfull and peacefull.

This villa is located within the picturesque and exclusive community of Sandy Ridge, 10 minutes from the heart of Walt Disney World and within easy reach of other major theme parks and attractions. This wonderful location is regarded as the premier place to stay when in Orlando. Only 5 minutes from I-4 and Championsgate. Sandy Ridge is located in between two large wooded reserves and is highly sought after. Being in between two wooded reserves offers all the peace and tranquility you need. Within 2 miles you will find 2 of the worlds best golf courses, one at Championsgate and the other being the exclusive Reunion resort. If you want to learn to play golf why not visit David Leadbetter Golf Academy at Championsgate. Whatever you want to do this is the ideal place to stay, only 30 minutes from Orlando Airport and 60 minutes from either coast. Also just minutes away from Publix Supermarket, CVS-pharmacy, ATM Bank, Gasstation, McDonalds, Subway, Chillis, Dunkin'Donuts and Pizza.

Notes

  • All local and Florida state taxes (12%) are included as well as final cleaning when booked for at least 1 week. When stay is less than 1 week you will be charged $100.00 for final cleaning. Pool heating, which is recommended between October and April, is available for an additional $25.00 per day or $150.00 per week. There is a $250.00 security deposit, payable with the balance, which is returned 2 weeks after departure if there are no damages. The balance of your payment along with the security deposit is payable at least 6 weeks prior to arrival. The booking deposit (at time of booking) is 30% of total rental price.
  • Two weeks before your holiday we will send you: 1. Directions to our Villa. 2. Lockbox number to obtain your villa key. 3. Management Company phone number and contact details.
  • Please feel free to inquire about monthly rentals (minimum of 4 weeks/ 28 days) or ask for special rates for stays of 3 to 4 months. Of course when there is something else you want to know do not hesitate and get in touch with us and we will gladly answer all of your questions. Even when your dates are not available please make it known to us; we might be able to help you.

The villa was spacious and luxurious

We arrived tired but were immediately uplifted once we opened the front door! The villa was spacious, luxurious, and had everything that we could possibly want. The master bedroom and en suite bathroom were fabulous. When we weren't enjoying the pool, we watched some tv and played the wii with games provided. A car is needed - however the drives are short (10-15min) to Disney World and attraction parcs alike. We ventured to Kennedy Space Centre, an easy 80 minute drive, and to the beaches on the west coast, Clearwater particularly was beautiful - the drive took 90 minutes. I would definitely recommend staying here, and we hope to return!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
