5th floor apartment with fabulous views overlooking the marina and Mar Menor Sea

Accommodation type - 2 bed, 2 bath luxury apartment with utility room, lounge/diner, kitchen and three balconies, one with lovely south facing views to the marina, and sea, the others to the Med.

Location – On the La Manga strip opposite the Thomas Maestre Marina. Within walking distance to the beaches on either side, the Med and Mar Menor

Air conditioning/Heating - Fully Air conditioned in both bedrooms and living areas. Under floor heating throughout the entire apartment.

Kitchen - 4 ring hob, grill, oven, toaster, microwave, fridge/freezer, granite work tops, walk in larder, fully equipped.

Utility – Washing machine, clothes dryer, cleaning equipment, iron, ironing board, etc.

Lounge/ dining – Large modern corner suite, coffee table, Satellite TV with many UK channels, and a DVD player with a good selection of films.

La Manga Strip : The La Manga Strip has many blue flag beaches. From the apartment you are no further than a few minutes away from either the crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor or the Mediterranean Sea. The Costa Calida (Warm Coast) can be as active or as relaxing as you choose. The climate is ideal for all kinds of outdoor activities, from horse-riding, to sailing and from golf to scuba diving. With over 320 days of sunshine and summer temperatures of 26 degrees it really is a paradise between two seas. Well served by shops, bars, banks, restaurants, close to the marina and all water sports the La Manga Strip has something for everyone. This is a place where the Spanish come to holiday, which guarantees you a real flavour of Spain. The fishing village at the beginning of the strip (Cabo De Palos) is a must visit with its atmosphere, Sunday market, restaurants and night life is a great night out.

The Mar Menor: Our apartment is situated between both the Mar Menor and the Mediterranean Sea with shallow waters and the absence of tides make the Mar Menor the ideal place for lots of water sports. It is a magnificent natural swimming pool with temperatures which are maintained by a sun that shines for an average 320 days each year. The waters has saline content of 50% and are scientifically recognised as being therapeutic in the treatment of rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments. The Black mud from the Mar Menor although creating a strange sight when first seen smothered over the body of visitors, is used to relieve the pain and the symptoms of these conditions. We also have the luxury of miles of unspoilt beaches.

The apartment now boasts a new 4 star Spa Hotel just a few paces from the complex offering Turkish baths, Jacuzis, massages, aromatherapy , two restuarants inc a Japonese with outstanding views to the Marina.

The La Manga Strip has a unique position in Europe, between two Seas, the Mediterranean Sea and the crystal clear waters of the Mar Menor. The apartment is located overlooking the largest and most prestigious marina in the area.. You can you see a sunrise and sunset from the same location over two different seas?

La Manga a sailors paradise with various sport ports, such as the Peurto Tomas Maestre or the Port of Cabo de Palos, numerous sailing schools, and diving clubs for the lovers of underwater activities, are a few of the facilities that you can find at La Manga. Horse riding, cycling, blue flag beaches and boat trips also make this a favourite place for all the family.

The world famous La Manga club is only a 15 minute drive away where you will find, not only 3 golf courses, but numerous other sporting activities and many restaurants.

There are numerous restaurants along the strip where you can choose from Al la carte to a simple take away.

    We understand how important it is for you to be able to take your holiday when you want; we aim to be as flexible as possible with regard to duration of stay and arrival/departure dates. If you wish to book a shorter or longer stay than quoted, please contact us for prices. Flights are often less expensive during weekdays and allows you better choice with flights. So we are happy to accommodate arrival and departure on any day of the week subject to availability.
    For late arrivals a welcome pack can be arranged which includes tea, Coffee, Milk, bread etc. This will be charged accordingly.
  • The apartment is looked after by an experienced management company. Whilst holidaying in our apartment our management agency will look after you and are easily contactable in the unlikely event of there being any problem with the apartment. The management company can also help with extra services such as airport transfers.
    We also arrange cot hire and high chair hire. High Chair @ 15.00 Euro per week , Cot @ 25.00 Euro per week, Welcome pack 20 Euros
  • CLEANING AND LINEN HIRE CHARGE:
    There is a 60 Euro fee payable on arrival to the house keeper for cleaning bed linen and towels which are all included.

Half Term On The La Manga Strip

My friend John and I spent a lovely week on the La Manga Strip during half term 2009. We thought the apartment was beautiful and the views from the balcony were excellent. The apartment was very comfortable, clean and well equipted. There were bars and supermarkets within easy reach and the beach was a short walk away.

The marina opposite the apartment had a good selection of bars and restaurants and, again was within easy walking distance.

There was an excellent pool available to apartment residents. However, the sea was warm and safe and we spent much of our time down on the beach.

I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone wishing to stay on the La Manga Strip
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

This is a wonderful "away from it all" location with near-empty beaches in Spring. The apartment is perfect for families or friends with the convenience of two bedrooms/two bathrooms and all the home comforts you could need. The balcony offers views of the marina and beyond to the Mar Menor. A great place to relax. There is a well stocked supermarket 100m away and the local bus service can take you further afield if you feel the need. Use of a car offers more scope to explore the area but is not essential. We will be back again.
