The property Asfodeli is a 10 hectares land, completely enclosed and surrounded by a green forest of eucalyptus and Mediterranean bush. Only 2 houses rise upon the green of this wonderful property. Named “Asfodeli “and “Suestellas”, these are 2 lovely typical Sardinian campaign houses, built about 200 meters far from each other , that join in perfect harmony the nature around. A walk through the property Asfodeli ,is a journey trough all the wonders of Sardinia. The enchanting scents of the vegetation ,alive and intense in spring and pastel coloured in summer, meet the salty air from the near sea, especially at sunset, creating a magical atmosphere. Rabbits, foxes, weasels and other small wild animals - not dangerous to humans - habit the property and are easy to see roaming across the land. But what is most striking upon everything, is the silence and peace that seems to reign all around, making property Asfodelo the ideal place for a restful holiday.

Beach information: Within a few kilometres you found the beautiful “Costa del Sud”( south cost), with its amazing sea and picturesque sand dunes .Beautiful beaches as Tuerredda, Piscinnì ,Porto Tramatzu match with rocky headlands and small creeks still unspoiled, to create a unique scenery, calm, wild and intact, made by the unbelievable white of the sand and the purity of the water, now cobalt coloured, now blue, now emerald, now grey , that make it all seem out of time.

In the South coast of Sardinia you can find bathing establishments, equipped rent ribs, pedal boats, and water skiing equipment. For privacy lovers there are many beautiful bays where you can sit in solitude on the coast.

Our family stayed i house Asfodeli for two weeks during sept/october. The house is in excellent condition and is perfect for a family vacation. We cooked almost every meal in the kitchen and all equipment worked fine. Since we stayed with small children aged 2 and 4, we appreciated the isolated location and we were not disturbed by traffic or noises. The village Teulada is just a short drive from the property and excellent beaches easily reached by car.
The host Antonello and his wife are friendly and helpful. The rental arrangements worked perfectly. We can warmly recommend Villa Asfodeli and our vacation in Sardinia was fantastic.

A comfortable apartment with a friendly owner.

We stayed for a week over half term in the apartment Asfodeli with our four year old ad five year old. The apartment had everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped (we like to cook and could not eat out in the evening because of our children). The beds were comfortable and there was ample hot water. The owner, Antonello, did everything he could to make our stay comfortable, including waiting for us in Teulada until midnight on the day we arrived, to show us to the apartment and make sure we were happy. Thoroughly recommended!

Superb vila in rural southern Sardinia

We stayed in this house for 9 days during early July 2010 and had the most wonderful holiday. The house is well maintained, very clean and well equipped, providing everything needed for a relaxing holiday. The house is in a quiet location surrounded by Maccia and Ucalyptus trees and with little light pollution, star gazing is a must, as well as enjoying the sunsets. The local town is only 5 minutes drive away with everything you need for a self catering holiday. The nearest beaches are about 15 minutes drive away and are clean and quiet. Antonello and his wife Carla are wonderful hosts and incredibly, warm, friendly and helpful. If your Italian is not very good, fear not because Antonello's english is fine. We cannot wait to return in 2011!!

Holiday in rural Sardinia

We had a wonderful time with our three small children at the Asfodeli House which was clean, spacious and very nicely decorated. Our children loved exploring the estate and we loved the peace and quiet. We ate outside admiring the stunning view all the way to the sea.

The local town of Teulada has shops and restaurants and the most idyllic sandy beach. We really enjoyed exploring the south west corner of the island it seems very uncommercialised and more authentically sardinian. We also did some amazing walks along the beautiful coast and in the mountains.

I would recommend this holiday for anyone who likes to get away from the crowds but still wants to explore this lovely island. When our flight was delayed due to the icelandic volcano Antonello could not have been more helpful. We're looking forward to returning soon.

Maccia all around

If you love nature and look for a quiet, lonely house in the southern part of Sardinia-this is a place for you.The house is quite new and is ideal for families or small groups.There is nobody around you except maccia and nature.
In August it was very hot so we really needed the air conditioner regularly. Our kids enjoyed the satellite TV and we had a rest...
During the night you may listen to the howling of some stray dogs and we closed the bedroom window most of the time.Early in the morning a far away cock wakes you up softly and during the day insects chirp.
Mr Antonello is a real gentleman and very helpful.
