The gites are set in a very picturesque area on the borders of the departments Lot and Dordogne. Sarlat with its lively saturday market is 25 kilometres to the north and the medieval walled town of Gourdon with its own weekly market is 13 kilometres to the east. The area is famous for its gastronomic delights, foie gras, goats cheese and the world famous Cahors wine and the cosmopolitan town of Cahors is 30 minutes by car. The pretty village of Salviac is just 3 kilometres, and has everything for your daily requirements, baker, butcher, bank, post office, mini supermarket bars and restaurants. Tennis, golf and horse riding are available nearby. The property has direct access onto many miles of marked paths and routes for off road cycling and walking.
