Spacious Garden Level Studio; perfect place to crash or chillax!

The owner is an affordable photographer/guide and would happily take you to scenic foothills locations for a photo shoot, 4x4 tour, or 420 tour, of course depending on availability. Whether you stay here or not, please inquire about tours and/or photography.

DETAILS: Kitchenette with full sink/disposal, microwave, convection oven, (1/2 size) fridge, private bathroom, private entrance, 1000 sq ft of comfort, amazing studio quality speakers ready for your iPod, the Blue Ray disc player, or an HBO movie.

House is on the Highline Canal, Denver's longest and prettiest bike-path. Furnished with a comfortable queen size futon, it's a cozy and fun space for one or two people (two max.)

The back door of the house is your private entrance to the garden-level apartment. The upstairs unit may or may not be rented during your stay, so the deck and yard are for your use only if the upstairs is vacant... please ask if this is unclear.

If I am around the house at all, I'd be working on the yard or in the garage. In the summer I live mostly in the mountains and travel a lot.

Smoking (whatever you're smoking :-) needs to be outdoors away from the house. There is a designated area with chairs and tables out back by the driveway.

Although within the city of Denver, there's a giant backyard and deck area in a quiet and lush neighborhood with giant oaks and maple trees. It backs to the Highline Canal, which in turn connects to the famous Cherry Creek bike path system and Cherry Creek state park. Walkers, bicyclists, skaters and runners love this place! Shady all summer long in our famous 300 days of Denver sunshine.

Bus is 3 mins walk, light rail is 5 mins bike.

Central location. Comfortable living accommodations.

Overall my girlfriend and I were satisfied with our VRBO rental in Denver.

The property itself has most necessary amenities, albeit does not have a dishwasher, oven, or stove. The main living area has a comfortable queen-sized bed (sheets, blankets and pillows provided), TV, stereo, WiFi, and 2 big couches. The bathroom has a large counter, the shower is high-pressured, the water gets hot quickly, and bath towels are provided. For the most, the property was tidy and clean and the carpets had been recently shampooed.

Potential renters will DEFINITELY need a vehicle to get around. Most destinations are a 20 min drive from the house or 1 hour train ride (following a 10 min drive) from the Yale St. station. Considering the size of Denver, however, 20 min is really not all that long to drive to get somewhere. Roughly 5 min drive from the property (NW on Evans) is a convenient access to the I-25, which goes North or South to anywhere in Denver.

As stated in the VRBO ad, the owner is 420 friendly. Within a 5 minute walk from the house is Altitude dispensary, which is one of the best in Denver (high quality product and great selection). Smoking is not permitted indoors, but the owner permits smoking in the backyard. However, the street is quaint and safe (and has little rabbits hopping around everywhere), so we would just take a pleasant little walk around the block and medicate.
