2. During Peak Season, June 1 - September 1, 2015, the cottage is offered by the week for $2,395 plus costs (sales tax, housekeeping and damage insurance). Owner prefers Saturday check ins and check outs, but will consider all requests.
3. Discounts offered for rental of four or more weeks in summer.
4. During mid season, September 1, 2015 - June 1, 2016, the cottage fully furnished cottage is available by the month for $3,195 (includes all utilities).

Built in 2006, this FULLY FURNISHED 1000 square foot luxury Nantucket style home is set on the eastern shore of Bainbridge Island. From the house and surrounding acreage you will enjoy stunning sunrises, panoramic views of Mt. Baker, Mt. Rainier and Puget Sound (think sailboat races, cruise ships, fishing and leisure vessels sailing by). When the tide is out, heading north or south, you'll have multiple miles of beach to explore.
A tree-lined driveway winds its way through wooded acreage and then over a bridge to the private setting. You'll enjoy 50 linear feet of PRIVATE NO BANK waterfront, trails through the woods and a stream that empties into Puget Sound - late summer and fall you can watch mature wild salmon pass by on their way home to spawn - springtime you'll see young salmon (smolts) depart for their life's journey in the sea.
This cottage was designed and decorated to maximize the beach, sound and mountain views and provide elegant but casual living space. Throughout the entire home, enjoy RADIANT HEAT (limestone and marble on the main living area and dark hardwood in bedroom loft and on stairs).
The cathedral ceiling in the living and dining areas have two sets of French doors opening onto the furnished patio (with grill) and beach beyond. There is a wood burning stove in the living area and outside a fire pit for beach bonfires (owner provides the wood). The couch opens to provide a queen-sized bed. There is a large flat screen TV in the living area, which is connected to cable TV. Wi-Fi throughout the house.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you'll need to prepare meals. It has Viking gas range and under-counter refrigerator, custom cabinetry, limestone countertops, Waterworks farm style sink and faucet. Multiple appliances, pots, pans, Nespresso coffee maker (owner provides coffee capsules for short term guests), gadgets, etc. complete this cook's kitchen.
The full bathroom, with carrara marble floor (with RADIANT heat!) has a tub/shower, vanity and toilet.
Dark hardwood stairs lead up to the bedroom loft (RADIANT heat here too!) which has a queen-sized bed, smart TV with dvd player (this TV is not connected to cable, but owner will consider adding this for long-term guests). There are shades and drapes to shut out the light, or leave them open and wake to the sun rising on the sound and mountains.
Full sized washer and dryer and iron and ironing board in utility room off breezeway leading into house.
Parking for 3 - 4 vehicles.

The house was quite spacious, nicely appointed and had plenty of natural light throughout the day. The oceanfront house has a very nice view of the sound which is ideal for viewing spectacular sunrises. Furthermore, the house is located in a beautiful wooded area and has many nearby hiking trails and parks. The area is quiet, private, and very peaceful. Our stay was made better by the wonderful owner of the property. The owner was very helpful and made every effort to make us comfortable and provided us with whatever we needed. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend the property to others.

Damage deposit - three days prior to check in a hold for this amount will be placed on the guest's credit card. If all is well at check out the hold is released.
Booking deposit of $1,000 due when rental agreement is accepted, balance of rent and costs due ninety (90) days prior to check in. If booking occurs less than ninety (90) days before check in date, then full payment is to be made as soon as possible.
