Our family gathered for a reunion and the house proved to be a wonderful place to accommodate our group of nearly all ages. The highlight was time in the volleyball pool, and spending time together in the multiple common areas of the home.
The rooms are set up to allow some independence for the different family units, and the kitchen and two dining rooms were more than sufficient to allow for enjoying that aspect of family life as well.
It is in central Florida and we stayed in the dead of summer, so heat and wasps abounded, but there were accommodations made to deal with wasps (multiple spray bottles available), and the a/c was working efficiently. There are printed signs all around reminding guests to take care with certain items … some of our group found this off putting. It’s understandable but possibly could be presented differently. Also there are parts of the property that are not accessible and it seemed possible that one of those areas was occupied.
Brantley was a wonderful host and checked in daily to make sure we didn’t need anything, and to make sure the pool remained free of debris and that the trash was removed.
All in all we would definitely enjoy staying here again.
