A newly-renovated jewel in one of Paris' most fashionable addresses, the Marais - Pompidou II apartment is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom property that is perfect for up to 4 guests. This apartment has been carefully adorned with high-quality furniture and fixtures of solid hues of gray and violet and is equipped with a full kitchen opened to the main living area.
The moment you walk in, you are welcomed by a comfortable living room set with a sofa that doubles as a queen-sized comfortable bed. For your entertainment needs, there is a wide-screen, LCD cable TV with international channels in the living room.
To your right, you should find the well-equipped kitchen and countertop-table that seats 4 people. Should you wish to dine while taking a gander at the beautiful Parisian streets outside, there is also a glass dining table past the living room area.
The bedroom in the Marais - Pompidou II is fitted with a comfortable, king-sized bed and adorned with beautiful lamps and a truly Parisian wall decal. Finally, the sole, en suite bathroom in this apartment comes with a shower and a bathtub.

Modern furniture in a great location in the historical district of Paris
This apartment was very enjoyable for us to stay at. Perfect for the two of us and very well located for all the major attractions. A very fine place to stay with great restaurants around.
We stayed at at this apartment in October. Overall we had a great experience. The host was very wamr and his directions were easy to follow and understand. The unit was beautiful, modern and very comfortable as well as clean. The apartment and kitchen have everything you need! The location is a block from the Pompidou center, it was great to be in the marais with numerous restaurants, grocery stores, as well as shopping nearby all within walking distance. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to any friend staying in Paris.
I highly recommend this property. The high quality photos represent the care and quality with which this apartment is decorated and maintained. Within 100 meters of the location are over 20 restaurants, a gym, a full service grocery store, a drug store, 3 print shops and two Verlib bike stations. The bed in the bedroom is a full sized and comfortable king. The queen sofa/bed in the living area is also quite comfortable. All the appliances are new.
The apartment is on the 2nd floor facing a quaint, small but quite busy non-commercial street. (traffic is limited to service vehicles)
The building has an elevator. The apartment is not technically wheel chair accessible. because there are 3 stairs in the hallway. If the person in a party only needs a wheel chair for longer trips and can traverse stairs, this property is an option.
If you are a light sleeper, this property might not be for you. I used ear plugs and had no problems. There are three bistros and three nightclubs within 50 meters of the bedroom windows. Patrons pour out into the streets until 2am except on Sundays and Mondays. They are not obnoxious or unseemly, but hundreds of revelling Parisian do make a joyful noise.
The property manager Sam is personable and helpful. He returned on our second day to repair a broken fan and to tighten a loose toilet set. He did not bring the correct tools and did not return to finish the repairs. This is a small issue and we did not feel slighted or inconvenienced by it.
If you are arriving or departing by plane, use Welcome2France's shuttle service which is very competitively priced at 70 Euros. The biggest advantage is that the Shuttle service is in contact with the property manager, so that you are met on arrival or escorted out with no time lapse.
If you are arriving by train, do not use Welcome2France's service. The charge was 45 Euros from Gare Lyon. We arrived midday, there was no line for taxis and it only cost 7 Euros.
Our only surprise was that we were required to purchase an additional insurance policy from a French company for around $80 to cover potential damages to the rental. The policy covered other types of trip issues, such as cancellation, so we didn't need to purchase a separate trip insurance plan when we booked the other parts of our vacation.
Three bits of advice: (1) purchase a museum pass; (2) take a get on/ get off bus tour your first day; (3) use the Verlib public bike system.
