Relax! You've arrived at your personal oasis away from home. This town home is off of beautiful Mullholland Hwy, which is state designated as a scenic highway. The unit boasts a clean modern style with a comfortable and Zen inspired atmosphere. Tall windows and high ceilings throughout captures the morning sun rise over mountain views. Nestled at the foothills of Santa Monica Mountains, you're tucked away from the density of greater Los Angeles, yet conveniently close to beaches, city centers and attractions.
The home was recently remodeled with an open floor plan and features ebony style cabinetry throughout the living and kitchen area. Cooking will be a joy with professional series stainless steel appliances and fully stocked cookware. The kitchen area flows to a lounge area, next to which is a beautiful hand-carved antique bar. Elements of carved furniture also appear in the living room, coupled with a modern twist in the built-in entertainment wall, which features a 50' high definition plasma screen television and Bose surround sound system.
Outside the living area is a lush ivy covered green patio backed by a hillside and sounds of nature. You'll find a professional series barbeque (including propane and grill ware), a table and sitting area for four and a cozy cushioned seating area to help you unwind. If working out is your way of unwinding, there is a free-weight gym in the cool basement. Laundry unit is available in the basement.
Upstairs there are two large bedrooms, each with it's own bathrooms. The master suite has high vaulted ceiling, looks out upon a hillside and is furnished with a California king size bed. This room has a large bathroom with both stand up shower and jetted hot tub, along with a large walk-in closet. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, writing desk and has it's own bathroom.
You'll find an ease of access to restaurants and shopping; walking distance from the Gelson's Village; about a mile away from the Commons, a European village styled open air shopping center and the historic restaurant and shopping district of Old Town Calabasas. Topanga State Park and Malibu Creek State Park are within 7 miles. Beach cities and Santa Monica are a scenic 10-15 mile drive through scenic surrounding canyons. You'll find pockets of charming eateries and shopping along the way, as well as hundreds of miles of trails as part of protected land and wildlife of the Santa Monica Mountains. You'll feel far away from the city, but conveniently close.
