We used to live in Manhattan, and now we make Union City our home. Why? Larger apartments, as fast or faster to get into the city (faster than traveling on the express train from Harlem), and a great neighborhood vibe. It doesn't matter the time of day or night, you can walk the streets without looking over your shoulder.
We hope that you'll come stay with us and discover for yourself how crazy it is to be in a different state, but yet so close that it takes you only 15 minutes to get into Times Square.
If you're looking for a place that can accommodate your family or your group of friends, you've found it. LGBT welcome.
This is a light-filled 3 bedroom 3 bathroom 1600 sq feet apartment in Union City, NJ. It is 15 min bus ride to Midtown near Times Square via the Lincoln Tunnel. As surprising as it may seem, this place is closer to Manhattan than other places located in Upper Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens or the Bronx.
Our apartment is a few blocks away the bus station which is serviced 24/7 to Port Authority Bus terminal in Manhattan, right next to Times Square (Read further down for more details about transportation). From Times Square you are very accessible to Chelsea, the Meatpacking District, the Upper East/West Side, Lincoln Center, Central Park, etc.

My husband and I moved here from Canada 11 years ago. We have been lucky enough to travel extensively and we know how important it is to find a comfortable place to stay. We will do whatever we can to make sure that you have a great experience.
We love the wide open living room/dining room, and the shiny wood floors in here. It's also great that it's on the main level, so not a hassle to go up and down stairs.
The best part about this big apartment is how easy it is to get in/out of NYC, no matter what time of the day or night. Our special local buses run 24/7, every day of the year, every 5 minutes. You won't find any schedules for this service online, they don't need schedules beyond 'always running'.
Maria was so helpful from the initial contact through to our departure
She helpfully provided details on transfers to and from the airport which made the visit stress free and smooth
We visited as a group of friends celebrating our 30ths
Maria greeted us on arrival and provided heaps of advise on local resturants and transport
The accomodation was exactly as we'd hoped, modern, clean and full of little extras to make the stay feel like home
The location is perfect as a great distance from the bus stops and city centre
Would highly recommend and hope to visit again!
A perfect place to stay. Very nice and clean apartment, big kitchen and dining room, comfortable bedroom. Easy shuttle service every 5 minutes in & out from Manhattan. If you are not in a hurry, you can walk to Port Imperial/Weehawken ferry terminal (30') and use the NY waterways ferry to cross the Hudson River to Midtown, Pier 11/Wall Street, or World Financial Center. This is a really good place to stay, and every time you travel in or out from Manhattan, you've got a nice view over the city, which you don't get when you stay in Manhattan.
This place was awesome! All the comforts of home and so spacious by New York standards. We had a group of 8 stay (not all family members) and it was very accommodating. Beautiful kitchen. Transportation in and out of Manhattan was so simple. Great 24 hour diner nearby. I'd definitely choose it again!
Maria and Jay were very courteous, helpful and answered all our needs. Great spacious warm and inviting for the time we did spend there. Easy access to the city via the little bus a few blocks away. Looking forward to our next trip here with a great place to stay.
Maria was very accommodating and helpful in all aspects of our trip. The apartment was beautiful and in a nice neighbourhood in Union City. As stated, getting to Times Square was very easy and took between 8-12 minutes depending on the traffic. Staying outside of New York was actually refreshing, as we got to wind down in the evenings in a nice, quiet area. My family and I loved the apartment and would definitely stay there again, given the chance!
Thank you Maria for a wonderful experience!
Great, stylish and comfortable accommodations. Lovely green space for sharing meals and relaxing. Maria & Jay were wonderful hosts, providing great tips on getting around and where to have great meals. Lovely neighbourhood and easy access to the city.
One way street going west, between Bergenline Road and Kennedy. Very easy to navigate, well signed.
