This 3BR/2BA home is located conveniently in Cooper Landing, Alaska, central on the Kenai Peninsula to all the places where you'll be adventuring. Built in 2002 and used lightly and gently as a summer weekend home since then, it is clean and fresh, uncluttered and relaxing. Find a comforting and comfortable place to rest and connect right here!
When you first arrive, you'll be drawn to the large upper covered deck, with its impressive mountain view. You'll love to dine al fresco on the deck, BBQ grill at hand, watching sheep grazing distantly on the mountains or enjoying birds in the birdhouse.
The upper level of the house is where you will find the main living room, complete with satellite TV, a wood stove, and furniture for lounging. Behind the living space, next to the doors leading to the deck, you'll find a tidy dining area, with great window views to greet you as you sip your morning coffee. The kitchen, outfitted well with all appliances and utensils, is crisp and clean.
Two bedrooms and a full bathroom are featured on this upper floor. Each bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and simple touches to inspire relaxation. The bathroom feels fresh and benefits from natural light through a shower window.
The lower level of the house provides a third bedroom and a second bathroom for additional guests. This bedroom has a full bed, plus a twin bed bunked over it. The full bathroom is clean, feeling new with nice fixtures and touches.
Downstairs you will also find the full-size washer and dryer. There is a second, mostly unfurnished living room - a great space to put an airbed if your group is large, or to stage your fishing gear. This room exits onto the lower deck.
The lower deck has a swing, perfect for that evening drink, swaying to the sound of the breeze in the forest. The property is well surrounded by mature spruce forest, in a quiet residential area with the small-town vibe.
A short walk, about 1/4 mile, down the quiet road brings you to a public access to beautiful, turquoise Kenai Lake. You'll be reminded of why you chose Cooper Landing for your Alaskan vacation: pure beauty!

About Jessica Larsen
My name is Jessica Larsen, and I have been a professional in the hospitality lodging industry for many years. I've turned my specialization to private vacation homes in a place I only ever dreamed I would live - Cooper Landing, Alaska. I first started coming to Alaska between college semesters for summer work in Denali National Park in 1998, then moved to the state permanently in 2003. I lived in Anchorage for several years, where I married and became the mother of two awesome little boys. We moved to Cooper Landing, where we had been recreating for years, in 2011 and have felt at home ever since. I find great satisfaction in making a living space feel clean, comforting and welcoming, especially for our guests. It's a pleasure to host you here!

Why Jessica Larsen chose Cooper Landing
It's my pleasure to only manage a few quality homes at a time, to be able to provide each the personal attention it and its guests deserve. This house is a nice addition to my current management accounts because it's so gently lived in, clean and fresh, has a relaxing atmosphere, and suits a family traveling on a moderate budget.
What makes this house unique
What I like most about this home is the huge covered deck and the porch swing. The birds are very active in the surrounding woods, the breeze is almost always so gentle, and even in a rain, you can stay dry and protected while seeing nature in its majesty. The mountain view from the deck keeps taking my breath away.
