|Minimum Stay||4 - 7 nights|
This simple, beautiful and spacious 3-bedroom (all en-suite)detached family home is located in the countryside of Oakley Green, Windsor, Berkshire.
Willow Court is an absolutely perfect base for a family with children or a group of friends with children and their well-behaved dogs to come and stay while they explore Windsor, Legoland and all the local and further afield attractions.
The home has 3 large double bedrooms - all with en-suite bathrooms. In the master bedroom, there is a king size French bed, large chest of drawers and double wardrobe so plenty of storage, full length mirror and also a brand new en-suite with shower/bath and WC (loo!). The master bedroom is at the front of the house overlooking the private drive and the large lawned 'Willow Garden' to the front of the house. The master bedroom is a large, beautiful and sunny/light room.
The second bedroom has both a double bed and also a childs bed (suitable for up to age 5), double wardrobe, and again an en-suite bathroom with shower, basin and loo. This bedroom is also at the front of the house.
The third bedroom has 2 full size single beds (one has wooden side rails), double wardrobe, large chest of drawers and again is en-suite. This bedroom is on the courtyard garden side of the house and overlooks the courtyard.
All 3 bedrooms are large by English standards and bedrooms 2 and 3 have brand new carpet (the rest of the house has wooden floors).
There is a total of 3 en-suite bathrooms and a separate cloakroom with an additional (4th) loo!
The kitchen is a good size, not snazzy but extremely functional for families. It includes everything you would expect including dishwasher, fridge freezer, washing machine and fully kitted out with cutlery, utensils, pots, pans and everything needed. There is also a simple breakfast eating area. There are double patio doors that lead from the breakfast dining end of the kitchen into the private courtyard garden. The kitchen also have a gas hob, oven and a microwave oven.
The living room is very large and beautifully light with large windows on 3 sides. There are again double patio doors leading from the living room into the lovely spacious walled courtyard garden. There is a large flat screen TV in the living room (this is the only TV!). The house has Wi-Fi and the TV has SKY (including children's channels). The living room has a dining table that will sit 6 or 7 at a push (we have actually managed to have 8 around it on key family occasions but that does get a little chaotic!).
The house has wooden floors throughout and brand new carpets in 2 bedrooms. We would respectfully ask that all shoes are removed at one of the doors to protect the floors/carpets from the mud of the country!
We do have a garage and additional buildings but they are not included in this rental.
My sister sometimes stays in a separate building close to Willow Court in the 'Stables' with her dogs, Bo, Lara and Hugo and cat Mimi. The Stables has it's own enclosed garden. The dogs are extremely well behaved and very used to children - however they will be always on the lead when on the property.
If you are looking for a place where your children can experience the country in a safe, fun, lovely environment then this is the perfect spot.
Willow Court has a large private, walled courtyard garden for your private use. It has rattan garden sofas, chairs and table plus a large outside dining table with chairs and large parasol for when the sun comes out. There is also a BBQ for your use during your stay. The courtyard garden is full of flowering bushes including beautiful wisteria that is about to come into bloom which is bliss when you are enjoying a glass of wine in the evening.
If you have a young baby, we can also provide a highchair and travel cot for no additional fee - please just let us know in advance.
Willow Court has ample parking and at night the electric gates are closed, during the day they are open to allow access to the farm shop behind the property, where you can buy fresh eggs, jams, chutneys, etc.
There is also both a Tesco and Waitrose supermarket close by (2 mins Tesco and 7 mins Waitrose) by car. There is a lovely gastropub within a 5 minute walk of the house. There is a network of footpaths accessible very close to the house and it is possible to walk dogs off the lead.
Oakley Green is a beautiful area located about 5 mins drive from Windsor Town Centre. The area includes the Windsor Racecourse, LEGOLAND, Windsor Castle, Windsor Great Park, Guard's polo club, many traditional pubs and restaurants and is surrounded by stunning English countryside.
This accommodation will suit any guests looking to find a beautiful, simple and reasonably-priced private property to be based in while they explore the local area, Windsor, London and beyond.
You will be met on arrival by either me or a member of my family and I will take you through the check-in process.
This will include welcoming you to Willow Court, showing you around, giving you the keys, finalising payment for your stay and also answering any questions you might have.
If you would like to book Willow Court, please email me ASAP and I can provide pricing and confirm availability.
Thanks very much.

My name is Justina Leigh-Davies and I am married to Stuart and have 3 young children (Byron - 10, Ava - 8 and Raphaelle 3). As we have moved property, we have decided to share our family home with other families who want to experience a 'home from home' while visiting Windsor - perhaps for a trip to Legoland or any of the other local attractions.
Justina O'Leary purchased this house in 2002
We have a good sized 3 bedroomed home to offer, including ample free parking, in a safe, fun semi-rural setting. We are open to pets so long as they are well behaved, quiet and stay off all beds and furniture.
Willow Court provided all we needed and more for our family with toddlers and baby. Justina was there to make sure everything was as it should be upon our arrival, even down to washing the pigeon poo off the children's castle in the front garden area. What more could you ask of her! We would thoroughly recommend this property for its quiet location (apart from being under the Heathrow flight path but the toddlers loved that), easy parking and its convenience.
I’ve visited Willow Court twice (both times during the Summer months). It’s a very spacious house with a lovely walled garden area – not overlooked at all and great for entertaining as there’s a bbq and plenty of seating/dining space. Very good position as outside of Windsor, so plenty of space to park, etc, but easy access to the town (castle, shops, restaurants, etc) and also quite easy to get into London too. Very comfortable base from which to explore the area. Would love to visit again sometime and hope to do so this summer.
I have stayed at the lovely Willow Court several times now and every visit has been brilliant.
It's in a great location for Legoland and Windsor castle/ town centre (great for shopping).
The house is very well equipment and spacious, have everything you need for a holiday/ break. It also has an amazing walled garden for the children to play and a lovely farm with lots of animals and even a little farm shop.
I and three of my friends came to stay at Willow Court for a lovely long weekend away and to be honest couldn't ask for anything more.
Justina was always a great help, telling us where the best places to go were, how we would get there and always making sure everything was ok.
Thank you very much Justina and I'm sure you will be seeing us again shortly.
We have just returned from an idyllic week staying at Willow Court. The house surpassed my expectations, a real home from home in a really fantastic location. I stayed with my husband and two kids (age 8 & 12) and they loved playing in the shared garden on the trampoline and tyre swing then heading up to see all the ducks, hens etc on the smallholding behind the house.
A car is necessary but there is so much do do within a short drive. We enjoyed a day in Windsor - parking for a whole day in city centre is £15 but once there it's an easy walk round and it blends in to Ascot. The kids had a ball at Legoland (10 mins drive), we had a night at Windsor Race Course (complete with HRH Princess Anne), we watched our first Polo match in Windsor Great Park and took the train in to London for a day which is 45 mins from Maidenhead (NB parking much cheaper in Maidenhead for the day & 10 min drive).
There was a plethora of quaint English pubs nearby to enjoy for lunch or dinner.
I would happily stay in this beautiful house every summer if I could!
Thanks so much Justina and Stuart. We had a fabulous time at your property and couldn’t have asked for more. You all made us feel so welcome and the kids had so much fun. We will definitely be back and will recommend your property to our friends as I know they will love it too. Thanks again and next time you are in the Green Oak please thank them again for their delicious food – we loved walking down and eating there! Thanks again
Oakley Green is a beautiful area located about 5 mins drive from Windsor Town Center. The area includes the Windsor Racecourse, LEGOLAND, Windsor Castle, Windsor Great Park, many traditional pubs and restaurants and is surrounded by stunning English countryside. It is in the heart of the English polo area with Guard's Polo Club nearby.
If you are coming to Windsor for LEGOLAND - then Willow Court is an absolutely perfect location for you as LEGOLAND is just 3 miles drive away. If you are a group of friends coming to enjoy a relaxing break - then Willow Court is also a perfect choice and wonderful base for you - whilst also providing very quick access to all the restaurants, cafes, racing and events in Windsor.
Also very close by is Windsor Castle, Windsor Race Course, Ascot Race Course, extremely easy access to the M4 and just 3 miles away from the Windsor and Eton train station which trains to London Paddington taking just 35 mins.
Willow Court is a family home that is the perfect setting for families wanting a 'lived in' home to settle in while they explore Windsor, Legoland and all the other many local and further afield attractions. It is a much loved home that we have owned for over 12 years. We still live locally and will be on hand for any questions you may have during your stay.
Further down the lane from Willow Court is Willow Court Farm which is a small family-run farm shop owned by my brother Shaun and his wife Angelica. Here in their little shop, you can buy your fresh eggs each morning for breakfast and also a range of jams, biscuits, sauces and even honey from their own bees. They also sell chickens, ducks, geese and regularly have chicks and ducklings for younger children to see up close. Plus there are a variety of farm animals to see and say hello too including 2 pygmy goats Nuzzle and Scratch, 2 micro pigs Cooper and Coen, 3 peacocks, turkeys and more!!
Willow Court is a fun, safe, happy and relaxed environment to be in and around. We have a totally Non Smoking policy inside the property (smoking in the courtyard garden is allowed).
We are open to well behaved and quiet pets so please ask us for details. If accepted, all dogs need to be on leads at all times when outside of the private courtyard garden and dogs are not allowed on any beds or furniture.
We also have our cat Mimi who may call in and say hello during your stay. She is very independent and also quite aloof but if you do happen to see her - she loves to be gently stroked and cuddled and is quite used to young children also saying hello.
This lovely happy home will ideally suit families with children and/or groups of friends looking to find a family home that is beautiful but also 'lived in' so that you can relax, respect and enjoy the place and surroundings and have a great vacation.
This home nor its venue is suited to loud, middle of the night partying - it's ideally suited for families with children who want a lovely home to make their own while they explore the area.
